It's getting closer what will they be? What will you be?

I don't dress up but my stepdaughter is going to be Wednesday from the Addams Family.

Your turn.

My 3-yr old is going to be Jo-Jo (from the kid's show "Jo-Jo's Circus") and my 3 1/2 month old is going to be a princess.

I don't know if I should dress up or not. We have some new children that just moved in from across the street, but usually no one comes to our home. If I were to dress up for the heck of it, I would be a pirate like last year. I have a picture of it my random fitness picture file.

My DD wants to be Storm from the X-Men. I'll be a witch. That way I don't have to do anything about a costume}(

My DH sewed our DS's "mean" pirate costume. DS wanted to be a mean pirate because "Daddy is a nice pirate". DH is a large guy (3XL shirt size) so he has to sew his own costume otherwise it would cost too much. Most costumes are too small. You know one size fits all. DH loves sewing because it brings out the side of him that likes to create things. He is a true Renaissance man. One minute he is sewing a costume and the next minute he is rebuilding a car engine.

Well, my 3yo has decided she wants to be a purple Care Bear, we saw the cutest costume at Target. My 5yo is undecided, but will probably be some sort of princess (she's such a girlie girl), and my 7yo hasn't decided yet either. Last I heard she wanted to be Lavagirl though (from a movie- Sharkboy & Lavagirl).

I don't dress up, but I always get a cute Halloween shirt (I have an orange one w/ a cat that says Catitude that I got at Wal*mart last year), and some Halloween earrings & socks. I'm such a dork! ;-)

That's hilarious. My kids know that I can't sew at ALL, so whenever anything needs fixed they bring it to my dh (total outdoors, manly man also) is the one to sew it. (his Mom made sure he knew how to sew)

My DD is going to be a Cinderella Ballerina. Couldn't have found a better costume for her because she loves Cinderella and she wants to be a ballerina (she's 2 yrs 8 months). We picked it up yesterday. She wanted to wear it to school today.

My son wants to be Spiderman for the third consecutive year. But there's a few weeks 'til Halloween. He might still change his mind.

I waver between being a witch and a psychopath. Maybe I'll be a psychopathic witch. ;-)

My 3 yr old is going to be a penquin this year. He was a skunk last year and every where we went, he got lots of compliments on his costume.
I am not sure if I will dress up or not. I always say I am going to but have yet to do it.

My 5yo DD is planning on being one of the Cheetah girls (from the disney movie)...
:) She will have on a gold and cheetah outfit with dangley earrings and a microphone...TOO MUCH!!

Hello everyone,

My almost 4 yr. old daughter is wavering between being Ariel aka The Little Mermaid, and dressing as Tinker Bell. Her bedroom is gradually becoming Neverland, with Tink everywhere, so I'm guessing I'd better find that girl some wings!!

I haven't decided what to dress my 21 month old twins as yet. If I could find it in his size, my son would definitely be Dash from the Incredibles - he IS that kid, ya know? He constantly runs to do whatever he's doing and to heck with the consequences (or door frames, table legs, walls.) And he's got the blonde hair and develish look on his face to match!!

As for my littlest sweetie, I can't decide. She is such a girlie little petite thing - she'll draw attention no matter what she's in. She has that powerful kind of personality. I wouldn't mind dressing her as a cheerleader and her brother as a football player. I'd just have to get him a jersey, because he's a solid little boy. But what to do for the bottoms? (I don't really want to put him in tights!) Do they make football uniform bottoms in 2T?

Anyone who has ideas for toddlers who will be stroller bound - I'd love to hear them!!

Oh, BTW - Halloween is my birthday, so it's one of my favorite times of the year! I usually wear a halloween t-shirt instead of dressing up. We don't get much in the way of trick or treaters, we have two boxers and the whole neighborhood is afraid to knock on our door!!

My son, 7 years old, wants to be Diego the Animal Rescuer which is great; except, I'll have to make it because the costumes in the store only go up to 4T, I guess, they think only younger kids want to be Diego, not so with Zachary. But Ebay is so cool they have the Diego patches for $5 so I can just get a vest and go from there, so maybe this costume maybe cheaper than those in the past.

Oh, I forgot to add that my 13 month old DD will be a witch. My MIL made her the cutest witch costume.

Hi Joanne,

Where did you buy that cute costume? It looks more unique than most costumes you find at Target, Kmart..... DD usually likes costumes at the Disney store since she's into princesses.

Cathy

Tricia, they had an adorable Tinkerbell costume at Target. I was going to get it for DD because it was just too cute (the wings were beautiful), but they didn't have it in a small enough size.
