What?! Where's Spring?!

WE are getting hit right now by a snowstorm. I was just starting to think, hey, maybe this horrible winter is almost over and it starts all over again. :(
By the time the storm is done we are supposed to have 10 in.. Sigh.

so sorry about the snow....i live in georgia where it has been in the mid 70's and is supposed to hit the 80's this week....everything is starting to bloom.....it is not even spring yet!! we will probably be in big trouble by late june as it will be sweltering....
 
We've got mid-60's today, but VERY windy, and rain is threatening.

The good news: the flowers love it and are having a growth spurt!:)

The bad news: the flowers love it, and will probably be killed off when the promised/threatened temperature dip (into the 30's as a high!) comes mid-week.:-(
 
We had a blast of summer this weekend - record highs in the mid-80s, high humidity, major thunderstorms and tornadoes. Today is a bit better, tomorrow will be even better, back into the 60s. But yes, spring has come to my neck of the woods - trees and flowers are blooming, bugs are flying around, and some patches of grass and weeds are starting to grow (ugh).
 
You are getting what went through here yesterday. We got 10 inches! I am ready for summer! (it is melting quick);-)
 
Yup, you're right Daisyann, that's exactly where it's coming from. So, I blame you on this! LOL! At least it's melting fast, maybe next week we'll be back in the 40's and 50's again. I was getting used to that.

I was really starting to feel spring coming in too. Now we just got plowed with snow, oh well it can't possibly last that long.
 
I live in Minnesota too and we just shoveled out of about 8 or so inches. I couldn't believe it!! Yesterday we didn't have one bit of snow in our yard. My dogs loved it though.;-)

It has been in the 70's here these last few days. Yesterday was gorgeous and sunny. Today was nice too. It is overcast and windy (I love windy days) and close to 70 degrees. It will drop into lows of 30's and highs of 60's the next couple of days then it will get even cooler this weekend, but hey, no snow storm for us! I can't wait until spring comes to stay!!!

It's here in NC!! but I think it bypassed Spring and went right to summer. 84 today and it was hot. I refuse to turn on the A/C the middle of March. We are going to get some nasty thunderstorms later today, I think TN is getting pounded by them now. The temps will be cooler tomorrow when that cold front pushes through.
 
I thought spring was coming to us here in Michigan this past weekend and today(60-70 degree days) but tonight a cold front is coming through and back to mid 30's the rest of the week and snow ;( . Just have to love Michigan a 40 degree drop in 24 hrs!
 
As usual we have been bursts of warm and cool weather. One thing I learned very fast about Texas...if you don't like the weather, don't worry...just wait 4 hours it's bound to change:)

At least I don't have to get out the green spray paint! Was hoping for spring while looking at the yard yesterday (brown, crunchy, ICK!), now it's a BEAUTIFUL snowy white!

Enjoy the snow, ladies! by July we'll be complaining about 95 and HUMID!

Hey Kathy-
Isn't it crazy. Yesterday, I saw people on their motorcycles and bikes. It is kind of pretty outside right now. And, at least it won't be sticking around for very long-hopefully! I'm ready for Spring - I want to get out on my bike!

Canton, GA!!! I'm outside of Blue Ridge, GA in the mountains. Isn't this early spring beautiful. But last year at my house it snowed the first week of April. Keeping my fingers crossed...
