Hello everyone,

I am a huge Cathe fan and love her DVDs, especially Cardio Hits, Pure Strength, Leaner Legs, and Slow & Heavy. I have been working out for many years and find I use my Cathe DVDs 90% of the time because they are so effective and fun. I have worked up to challenging weight levels and often do several of Cathe's workouts in one session. Thanks so much for creating such excellent workouts!

I just ordered the Body Blast and Intensity Series DVDs. I used the reference links on Cathe's site and order a stability ball that was recommended for my height from http://www.fwonline.com. My question is what size Medicine Ball is appropriate for these workouts? There are several sizes on http://www.fwonline.com/aeroballs.htm and I am not sure which one to order. Any tips from the forum?

Thank you!

Well I believe cathe and the crew use a 8lb medicine ball. Mine is 10lbs cause thats all walmart.com had at the time. Hope this helps even though I am not cathe :7 .... Rhonda :7

DVD_fan,

Cathe says that she uses an 8 lb medicine ball in those workouts. I only had a 6 lb ball, and didn't want to shell out the money for another one; the lighter ball works fine for me. I believe that in all cases someone is either shown using an 8 lb dumbbell, or else Cathe mentions that as an option.

Both the Intensity Series and the Body Blast Series are great. You'll love them!

that's the one piece of equipment that I don't have. They have modifications with an 8 lb dumbbell and I'm getting good results..

I'm actually using my son's 8# soccer ball ...seems to be doing the job well. If I can't see more than one way to use something I'm not buying it.
