What was Your First Dance song at your Wedding?

"You're all I need to Get By" sung by Aretha Franklin...we had a band do it and the singer was from Kool and the Gang! It was awesome!!

The wedding was at the Church .. and the reception was in the Church reception hall .. no dancing ..

.. our "song" was "Sexual Healing" .. LOL .. so it was just as well we did not have music (how embarrassing would that have been)!!:D

We got married nearly 5 years ago... our song was "Amazed" by Lonestar.

Every time our eyes meet
This feeling inside me
Is almost more than I can take
Baby when you touch me
I can feel how much you love me
And it just blows me away
I've never been this close to anyone or anything
I can hear your thoughts
I can see your dreams

I don't know how you do what you do
I'm so in love with you
It just keeps getting better
I want to spend the rest of my life
With you by my side
Forever and ever
Every little thing that you do
Baby, I'm amazed by you

The smell of your skin
The taste of your kiss
The way you whisper in the dark
Your hair all around me
Baby you surround me
You touch every place in my heart
Oh, it feels like the first time, every time
I want to spend the whole night in your eyes

I still get goose bumps every time I hear this song.

Ours, too! We had a DJ, though, and played the Marvin/Tammi version (but only after my husband went to his car to get it, since the DJ FORGOT to bring it!!).

Color My World by Chicago, May 7, 1988. Whenever I hear that song, I still close my eyes and sway to it.

As time goes on
I realize
Just what you mean
To me
And now
Now that you're near
Promise your love
That I've waited to share
And dreams
Of our moments together
Color my world with hope of loving you

Say You, Say Me by Lionel Richie. It was the first song we ever danced to at his senior ball, so it seemed appropriate to have our first dance as husband and wife to that song as well.

how sweet, everyone! i eloped in Vegas but when we had our wedding party back in Scotland our dance was "It's Not Unusual" by Tom Jones, which tied in nicely since we saw him at the MGM Grand after we eloped :)
