What vitamins do you take?

Just curious. Every morning (that I can remember) I take calcium with d/multivitiam and one for the joints.
 
I mostly take superfoods now rather than individual vitamins. I use maca, a green-food mix called Vitamineral Green, goji berries, 'blue mangosteen' powder (mangosteen and blue-green algae). I also take a spray of vitamin B12 (methylcobalamin) once every couple of weeks and a vegan joint supplement.

I do eat some foods that are enriched with calcium and other vitamiins/minerals.
 
thats alot of vitas! i take b100,calcium,and multivitamins. i may consider adding on what you use. my pharmist said that whatever your body doesn't need it will not use.

That statement is only partially true. Vitamins A, D, E and K are fat soluable vitamins and can stay in your body a very long time. It should also be noted that high doese of Vitamin A can be very toxic in to the liver and also induce calcium loss.

I should clarify this....when I say stay A, D, E and K stay in the body a long time I am comparing it to the other vitamins which are water soluble;-)

I usually take a daily vitamin and Glucosamine, but I stopped taking my birth control pill and was so happy not to "have" to take a pill "everyday" that I haven't taken any type of pills for 6 mo.!:eek:

But, I have been alternating Xango(mangosteen)juice and Tahitian Noni(Noni fruit)juice in my morning smoothie, along with ground Flax seed.
