Cathlete
Hi! All - hoping you can help.
I found Cathe about a year ago on Fit-tv and really started getting back into shape. I have found that my exercise habits are constantly changing. I just got $100 for my b-day and would like to order some Cathe videos - but am just so indecisive.
I have taped most of the shows from FIT-TV and I have Cardio & Weights as it came with my step (it does not have imax 2). I also have access to MIS from my local library - which I love - usually do the upper body portion.
I like step, love step blast and low max. I have recently joined a facility where I do spin 2x week and right now for the summer cardio kickboxing (the type where you punch a bag) 1 - 2x a week. This has left me with little time for strength trainging as sometimes I'm not sure if I should do upper body the day before a cardio kick class - hope you guys can help.
Since I started spin class, I have not worked my lower body as often and when I do tend to do endurance based workouts - note I do not own a barbell but do have dumbells.
Due to my work schedule and the class schedule, this tends to be how my week shapes up
Sat - spin
Sun - cardio kick
Mon - spin
Tues -
Wed -
Thurs - cardio kick
Sometimes the monday spin is skipped and I go on wednesday. And sometimes the cardio kick is on tues rather that thurs. Sunday can be a long day where I weight train after cardiokick.
I was going to concentrate on buying weight dvd's but since I may stop the cardiokick after the summer due to $$$ - they had a special for the summer - I'm not sure if I should just order weight videos. I'm willing to spend up to $125.
The routines I have enjoyed most from Fit-tv are
Cardio:
Step Blast
Low Max
KPC
IMax 2
Weights:
Pyramids
Muscle Endurance
As far as weights go, I am not looking for bulk, but for toning and some strength.
The workouts I would really like to have are:
Gym Styles - upper body only
Muscle Max
MIS - on tape only
KPC/legs and glutes
bootcamp/muscle endurance - don't really like bootcamp, but love muscle endurance
low max
step blast
Hope you can help me pick to get the most bang for the buck!! Next chance I will probably have to order will be holiday time in Dec. Also when I do workout at home I usually only have 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Thanks in advance for taking the time to read this and to answer!!!
