What to do between intense workouts???

What Cathe tapes do you use between the intense workouts like IMax, IMax2, MIC, MIS and BodyMax?

I noticed that in the beginning of these workouts Cathe recommends not doing IMax without 2 days rest in between, or not to do MIS two days in a row - so what "easier" workouts can I use as filler?

I usually do a weight tape because I alternate between cardio and weights during the week. Or if need be another cardio like Cardio Kicks or KPC, or a CTX cardio. I have never done IMA1 twice in one week nor have I done MIC twice in one week. I have only done MIC in its entirety once since I got it, I tend to do it as 2 separate workouts. BodyMax I have never done in its entirety either, I do it as 2 or 3 workouts.

Hope I helped you some!!:D

I tend to alternate days of cardio and weights, regardless of the intensity of the cardio. If, however, you didn't want to do a pure weight workout, perhaps do a circuit like Cardio & Weights, Step, Jump & Pump or one of the Step Blast circuit premixes. Another thought would be to do something like Pilates or yoga in between intense cardio workouts.

I usually weight train. Or power walk for low impact and change of scenery. Or Rhythmic Step, Cardio & Weights, or CTX vids.

Hi,

I also try to alternate between cardio and weights, but depending on how fatigued I feel I'll do lighter cardio (Rhythmic step, some Christi Taylor or one of the older Cathe step workouts) or a circuit like Step, jump and pump or Cardio & weights. Sometimes a kickboxing workout feels different enough to be a good alternate for other types of workouts. I find variety is the key, so I try to listen to "where" my body feels fatigued and give that body part (or cardio) a rest.
