What time of day do you usually work out?

Hey there educated crowd! As school is getting started back up and we're all saying goodbye to another summertime soon, I was wondering how everyone's workout schedules are situated. So I've put together a little poll. What time of day do you usually workout? (And if you're like me, that may vary on the weekends).

I am trying to convince myself to get up even earlier for my workout --- I am currently a Choice 2 person -- because my schedule of commitments during my teenagers' school days this fall is going to be pretty crazy. I've been reading the "A.M. Exercisers" thread with great interest --- now if I could just rev up to do it an hour earlier!!! http://smilies.sofrayt.com/1/9/help.gif

I voted for the 3rd one but I actually workout before I eat breakfast but mid morning I would not consider early morning. So I guess technically I don't fit a category.:-( Anyway I workout around 9 or so in the morning and drink my smoothie after I am done, I have some juice before but not much.:D
 
I purposefully arranged things so that I wouldn't have to go to work until 10:00 am. That way I can get up around 7 and still have plenty of time to work out. This schedule has worked out wonderfully for me. I am well-rested and it's not a big struggle to work out. I'm just LUCKY LUCKY that I am allowed to create my own schedule. As long as I am consistent and am here to cover the 4:00 to 5:00 time, they don't care. I love my workplace :D .

Well I used to do it all in the mornings around 6:30 or 7am. But since I don't get into bed until kind of late, I don't get up AS early. So I do an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening, so I split it up :7 ..... Rhonda :7
 
On Saturdays and Sundays I work out in the morning (9:00 a.m. Saturdays aqua class; Sundays ~7:00 a.m. Cathe cardio + strength); on Mondays I begin at about 5:30 p.m. (Cathe cardio + strength) and on Wednesdays I begin at 6:00 p.m. (aqua class). Thursdays are always iffy; those are "official" workout nights, but these days I'm so jacked up from my Wed. nite class that I often have terrible insomnia, and am a pod person by the end of the afternoon so the workout scheme goes *pfft* and DH and I head to Chili's for smoked cheese and veggie quesadillas.

I vastly prefer working out in the morning but I know my performance would be terrible if I began earlier than 7:00 a.m.

In the summer I workout before lunch but after breakfast...usually! During the school year, I teach, I get up around 4:15 or 4:30 in the a.m. to get it done. Once I get used to it it's not so bad and it enables me to get my workouts in without interruption! There seem to be so many weeks during the school year where I just can't get to my workout if I don't do it first thing in the morning. I do switch my schedule around and workout after school if I'm just too tired to get up from stress or a late night. I find it difficult to fall asleep at 9 to get at lest 7 hours of shut eye. School starts next week so early morning schedule here I come...yikes!

Early....real early or I never get to exercise at all.

Today was my rest day. Tomorrow is MIS. Can't wait!!!:D
