What STS legs workout would/did you try?

Good Afternoon,
I just started M3 legs. My upper body is coming along very well. My question is, should I use plyo or the optional leg workout. I need to keep working on definition of my legs. I know the optional leg workout is for strength.... I did the optional yesterday (and have DOMS today). My question is would the plyo work better for definition? Any thoughts? :confused: ( I am also using HIIT,CCC and IMAX2. )
