Sometimes I hear a song and thing YUCK & then I get hooked & start to like it....guess that's their mission, huh ;)

Lately it has been (and a totally random mix at that):

"tear my heart out" papa roach

"in a lil' bit" 50 cent (don't ask...)

Debbie - how on earth did Papa Roach get mixed in with that bunch?

I've got Beastie Boys in the car CD player, so that's what's in my head. I'm trying to keep it there and not let my mind get hijacked by the easy listening drivel on my co-worker's radio.:p

Yesterday morning I did IMAX Extreme from The Terminator DVD. My exercise room is close to my 13 year olds bedroom where he was sleeping when I did my workout.

I had to listen to him sing "Let it gooo, let it go, let it go" all day long. Maybe I'll do Low Max this morning because I don't think there's any catchy tunes on that one.
 
Kung Fu Fighting has been stuck in my head all morning. There was this little toy hamster in a karate uniform at our guines pig's vet. You squeeze his little paw and he starts singing Kung Fu Fighting, and dances and swings his num-chucks (I have NO idea how to spell that). It was so cute, but my daughter played it probably 20 times while we were waiting for the vet. She even made me dance. I was very hopeful that the vet wouldn't come in while I was doing a roundhouse to the "Huh!"
 
I've got Gwen Stefani "Holla back girl" in my head all the time. I can't stop from saying the b-a-n-a-n-a part any chance I get.

My sons have one of those hamsters and when I hear it I sing it all day too! Don't have anything stuck in my head at the moment tho. I love that song "Collide" by Howie Day. It reminds me of someone that is not my husband that I'll never be with but might have been if things were different.;-)

Nothing wrong w/ that. My son sang God Bless America for his pre school graduation, and when I hear him sing it. I'm stuck for days.

with little kids in the house, I sometimes get thier songs stuck in my head. the blues clues song gets stuck in my head all the time and I find myself singing "gotta find a paw print - that's the first clue!"

please tell me I'm not alone in getting children's songs stuck
 
I was clothes shopping last Wednesday and they played Michael Jackson's "Thriller" while I was in there, so that sowed the seeds, then I heard "Billie Jean" again yesterday somewhere on my travels, so I'm stuck right now in a retro 80's groove! Suits me!

I agree with Bobbi, it's the store-piped music that has a lot to answer for. Most mornings it's Whitney Houston crooning at full lungs blast and I loathe the woman! Al I'm there for is eggs and milk @ 9am and I have to listen to "saving all my lurve for youooooooooooooo"

Well mine is "What a Feeling" a la "Flashdance" -- I brought it on myself joking with Shelley about being inspired to work out hard by the song "Maniac" -- and now it won't go away!! Beastie Boys - much much better, I'm trying to conjure up some "License to Ill" now....

i love the muppets!!!!

i get the songs from cathe's vidoes stuck in my head. the one that makes me crazy though is the one that plays at the beginning of all the IS series.
