What next??

Ok, so I'm looking to try a new DVD to add into my weekly rotation. I just started with KickMax doing the Low Impact Kickbox premix only. I like to try all the premixes before I put it all together. I currently do Low Impact Circuit once a week. What I really need now is a workout that is ALL step. I have a couple of options. Cardio Fusion or Step, Jump, Pump + Step Blast. From what I hear, SB is a lot of fun. I'm pretty sure it is all step. I hear SJP is a lot more advanced. I also have Low Max which I tried a couple times but got discouraged with the footwork so I moved onto LIC. Perhaps now I could dig it back out again.

I'm working on a solid 3x a week workout rotation. Anything over and above those 3x is just a bonus with my schedule but I am trying to up it to 4x per week. So I'm doing one treadmill night (walk / run intervals), one kickbox night, one low impact circuit. I think an all step DVD would be a great addition to my rotation.

Thoughts??

If what you looking for is an "all step" dvd that does not have complicated footwork, then this is what I would recommend: The Classics (which includes Step Jam, Step Heat and Step Max) or Cardio Hits (Power Max, Step Fit and Step Works). Both of these are older, but the footwork is not as complicated. Step Blast IS a lot of fun and IMAX2 and IMAX3 are also. The intensity is higher in SB and the IMAXes. SB comes with SJP which includes step, hi/lo aerobics and weights. Cardio Fusion is a compilation of Drill Max, Body Max 2 and Low Impact Circuit, so if you are not familiar with all three of those routines, it could be tricky. IMAX2 comes with Cardio and Weights which is obviously not all step, but the step routine is neither complicated or as intense as some of the other choices, but is just plain fun.

Hope this helps you somewhat.

Thanks Gin, I tried Step Blast (just the combo 1,2,3 premix) this week. It's a little complicated on the footwork for me yet. It'll take some practice sessions on this one before I can really count it as a workout. It is a fun routine though. I'll definitely keep at it.
I don't have the Classics or Cardio Hits. Perhaps the next time one of them come on sale, I'll buy it. I know I'm not ready for SJP yet!! That too, will come in time!!
Low Impact Circuit I can now do from start to finish ok.
So, I think I'll stick to practicing on SB and perhaps pull Low Max back out and give it another go. I love the premixes. It really helps me to be able to put the whole routine together in pieces so I don't feel like a complete "fool" when I try it start to finish!!!
