What Magazines do you Read?

My mail lady told me today that we have the most interesting magazines on the street, LOL. I never thought about it but I guess DH and I do get a mix. We have:

- Backwoods Home
- Everyday Food
- Mother Earth News
- Sci-Fi Magazine
- Weekly Standard

So, what do you guys get?

Sparrow

I hardly have time to read magazines, so I've let a lot of subscriptions run out. Now, I get:
Women's Heath and Fitness (my favorite fitness mag)
Vegetarian Times (may let that run out)
VegNews (more the kind of veggie mag I want)
Fitness (am going to let that one run out)

I subscribe to:

Home
Better Homes & Gardens
Entertainment Weekly
Parents

When I am rewarding myself for something, I buy People or another one of those trash/gossip magazines.

Interesting thread!

I too let my Fitness subscription run out.

Now I just get:
American Baby
RDH
Contemporary Oral Hygiene

I've never heard of it before but now I'm going to check out Women's Health and Fitness magazine cuz'if Kathryn likes it it's got to be good being that she's one of the most knowledgeable women around here:)

Antiques and Fine Art
Early American Life
Cook's Illustrated
Weekly Standard (online version)

I subscribed to Colonial Homes for years until they ceased publication--boohoo.

Wow, I haven't subscribed to or bought magazines in years. Last subscription I had was to Muscle and Fitness Hers, but I got bored with it and also found Cathe and got far better results with her fitness routines. I sometimes get the urge to read fashion or fitness magazines, but every time I pick one up I'm really disappointed. The articles just don't appeal to me. I do read a medical and science journals at work, but it's part of my job so I don't count it. I read a lot of political and current events sites online, so I guess that's taken the place of magazines for me.

Ilove love love magazines, even though I hardly have time to read one the whole way through. So I leave them in the bathroom  lol

Hi Sparrow...you and DH are certainly well-rounded on the magazine front...haha. I get way too many magazines as I got talked into a purchase by a telemarketer.

Muscle & Fitness (I actually like this one. It's a mens' magazine, but the exercises are more like the ones we do than in Shape magazine with the 2 lb dumbbell presses..haha)

Shape
Country Living
Elle
Blender
Newsweek
Readers' Digest
Martha Stewart Living
Cooking Light

Why thank you very much! I like Men's Health and Fitness books, and was so happy to see that a women's version of their magazine came out. I even like the covers: women dressed in athletic clothes (and in bathing suits when they are in a pool!) with fit, athletic bodies and neither anorexic, airbrushed adolescents nor overly muscular, silicone enhanced models.

I sometimes pick up those really trashy ones, like the Star or Globe, especially when there's a cover story on 'beautiful people' with cellulite, or dressing badly, or how they look without makeup!

So I leave them in the
>bathroom  lol

I've never understood the concept of reading materials in the bathroom. Maybe I'm more regular than some? I certainly wouldn't have time to read anything!

I am glad that I am not the only one!! Those ones are my favorite!! When my Mom comes into town, she loves to read The Enquirer, so I buy it for her. I am always like, "It's not for me...it's for a friend!" It is such a guilty pleasure!
