What is your one guilty pleasure?

Also getting a nap. I love a little snooze. In about a week, I will be an empty nester and can do this more often. Quiet house.....peaceful life.....:7

My #1 guilty pleasure are the frozen cappuccinos at Starbuck's. I'm a student Baruch College (CUNY) and they have one in the building! Needless to say, I am there at every break, but I allow only one cappuccino per day.

OK--I haven't checked in on this one in a while and I must know what a prickley pear is and where I can get one!! Can you tell I'm already looking forward to my next guilty pleasure??}( For anyone who may be interested, I did find a low-carb margarita recipe online somewhere and I made them over the weekend when we had people over for a barbecue!! Big hit, even among those who could care less about calories!!:9

Chiquita,

I graduated from Baruch,(BBA in CIS) back in 1987. A great school. I've seen thru my alumni magazine all the great changes.

My guilty pleasure:

1. Eating cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory, once a month
2. A weekly massage from a strong sexy man
3. Bi-weekly pedicure

Ashley,

I'm not sure what a prickly pear is either, but the margueritta is to die for. DH and I go to happy hour at Chevy's (a chain Mexican restaurant). That's where I get mine.

I would love the recipe for the low carb margueritta. Please post it.

:p

You got it Candi!! Obviously, you can change it around to make them stronger/weaker for your preference.

2 oz Tequila (I used Jose Cuervo Gold)
6-8 oz Crystal Light Lemonade
1 lemon wedge (juice)
1 lime wedge (juice)
It said to combine it and shake it VIGOROUSLY!! But my personal favorite is frozen, so I threw it in the blender w/some ice. I also added a little sprinkle of sugar-free Tang (powder mix) to give it the orange twist that usually comes from Triple Sec or Contreau!!
Enjoy and pass along to others!! (Although it can never be as wonderful as it's super-guilty alter ego!!)x(

GREAT thread!!!!

My guilty pleasure is a glass of wine or beer with dinner. That and watching Murder She Wrote reruns over and over... Geez, seeing it in print makes it sound quite tame!!
