Okay, just wondering. Because I noticed it this morning and then I noticed only very few were "rated" and wondered what it meant. O...k...then.

It's extremely childish. :(I wish they would disable the feature.

Aw, it's okay. I am just hyper-sensitive. You all know that probably.

I wasn't upset - just wondered what it meant - and wondered if SNM or someone like that rated it for disapproval. It was not a feature I recall on the old forum.

I agree.
It serves no useful purpose, IMO. And is used by some just to be spiteful (or, who knows, it might be used by people who aren't even members of the forums?).

I contacted Cathe once to suggest it be disabled, but for whatever reason, she never answered my pm. I encourage others to try.

I'm with you, Kathryn in the belief that whoever is doing this is probably not even an active member, and he/she just got tired of dialing peoples' phones and hanging up when they answered, so they've moved onto their next set of jollies.

I visit here on my son's computer while I'm not logged in. You have to be logged in to pull up the star ratings. It is registered members rating the threads:(

Well if it was one person's opinion, I would not let it bother you. Like the others said, that was just mean.
 
I know someone of you would like the rating system gone but I was thinking if SNM keeps it, maybe they could put a feature where we would be able to see who voted and what their vote was. In that way, people would think twice before they rate a thread terrible.

Just a thought!
