^very thorough explanation, Cathe used the Tabata method in CrossFire and To The Max, 4 mins total, 4 different exercises 20 seconds on followed by 10 seconds rest then repeat the sequence again. It is the most effective HiiT method for increasing aerobic and anaerobic capacity :)
 
They are super fun!! Knowing you only have 20 seconds really frees your mind up and allows you to push harder than you might otherwise.
