Tonight I had cardio on the rotation but only had 30 minutes at best. I really needed an intense, grueling, heart pumping workout. Not only do I have PMS tension but I received some dissapointing personal news. I needed to get my ass kicked and get lost in motivation and alleviate some stress.

I did 30 minutes of Circuit Max (could have done more but dinner needed to be made). Before I started I felt down but after that 30 minutes I felt great - those endorphines kicked in and that Cathe motivation made me feel like I could do anything!

I need more Cathe! I vowed to wait for her new tapes to come out but she is the best instructor out there! Even though her cardio choreography is advanced - I love the challenge of it! I didn't screw up the steps as much this time!

Just had to post - figured no one else but you guys would understand.

I totally agree!:) Whenever I've had a rough day I know when I pop in my Cathe video I'll sweat it all away. Her up beat attitude and intense workouts just make you feel so darn good about yourself! :D
She is, I feel, the best instructor I've found. She's the only one I've had that truly pushes me to the limit. I don't get bored with her tapes and am so looking forward to the new ones!
Yes, I will have to attest that I am a Cathe junky. I am so grateful to have found her(and this site!;-) ) Take care of yourself, Susan

I love reading threads about how great workouts make people feel great. ;-)

I had a similar experience with Rhythmic Step last night. I got home from work late and was beat... and quite cranky. I considered just plopping down on the couch with a glass of wine but instead made myself change into workout clothes and pull out that step. I had a great time with it and felt 10 times better afterward! The music, Cathe, the fun moves, working my butt off, it all does wonders. Here's to Cathes great workouts and 6 new ones to come!

RE: Safety, Effectiveness and Fun!

I know what you mean, Bebop! I took last week off from work, just to step off the treadmill of the 9 - 5 routine, and here's what I did:

Sun. 09/01: Circuit Max (with barbell squats and lunges only); do-it-myself abs; 30 minute upper body lifting

Mon. 09/02: Cardio Kicks; 10 minutes barbell/weightvest squats/lunges; CTX-Kickbox abs; 30 minute upper body lifting

Tues. 09/03: MIC hi/lo segment and Step/Intervals interval segment; 10 minutes barbell/weightvest squats/lunges; CTX Allstep abs; 30 minute upper body lifting

Wed. 09/04: Cardio Kicks (again!); 10 minutes barbell/weightvest squats/lunges; CTX-PowerCircuit abs; 30 minute upper body lifting; 80 minute aqua class (that I taught)

Thurs. 09/05: MIC step segment; 10 minutes barbell/weightvest squats/lunges; CTX-LL abs; 30 minute upper body lifting

Fri. 09/06: Rhythmic Step warm-up; BodyMax step circuit segment; Power Circuit circuit segment; S&H supermans, planks AND traditional ab work from MY NEW AB HITS DVD; 30 minute upper body lifting

Sat. 09/07: Aqua class (that I taught)

Sun. 09/08: Interval Max; extended total body strengthening

Mon. 09/09 (p.m.): Circuit Max (barbell squats/lunges only); S&H supermans, planks and traditional ab work.

I was in heaven! I don't dare tell the people at my office about this - they think I'm some sort of "fitness nut" although 90 % of non-work related conversation here has to do with weight-loss woes. Only the people here on Cathe's forums understand how addictive her workouts are - not to mention how personable she is!

I'm just dying and drooling (in that order) for the new workouts to come about!

RE: Wow Aquajock!

That is exhausting just to read Annette! I someday strive to be able to do CK or CM and some lifting afterwards. I had a HORRIBLE day at work and PMS. But I came home and did CM and felt great. I even made my husband dinner, something I never do! Go Cathe!!! And go us!

RE: Wow Aquajock!

I NEED A CATHE VIDEO RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Perhaps kickboxing
