What happens when you have too many Cathes?

I know, it's blasphemy! I finally caved and will soon have all the DVDs, excluding those not ready yet but including ones I've not done before - Slow and Heavy and Pure Strength. I decided I'd rather not waste $20-25 here and there on iffy videos when I could go with a sure thing that I could grow with.

But that leads to a (good) problem. How in the world do you fit in all the ones you want to do? Right now I do MIS, PH, Body Max upper and SHLA for weight training. What happens when I add other great workouts to the possibilities? And she's going to come out with more??? My head's gonna explode!!

Would I get any benefit from, say, doing three different types of weight workouts a week (say, PS, PH and SH) or is it best to stick to one kind for a while.

Let's make one thing perfectly clear: You cannot have too many Cathe's!!!!!!!

Ha!

The possiblities are endless!!! I totally agree with HB about not ever having TOO many Cathe's. As far as "iffy" vids, I'm with you, Rose. I am sooo tired of wasting my $'s on vids that just don't produce. Besides my Powerstrikes, a Firm and a spinning video, it's Cathe all the way. My suggestion would be to save some of the vids for later rather then trying to fit them all in. For instance, maybe do a PS rotation using all 3 tapes at the begiing of the week, say M, T & W and then add in a total body workout like MIS or Powerhour on Saurday. Stay with this for awhile and then move onto something else. One reason being you will know what works for you as opposed to jumping around every week using different tapes. Just a suggestion! I also have all the Cathe's and plan to get everyone she makes, even if it means that some tapes will be on the back burner for awhile. There are just not enough days in the week but it sure helps to have sooo mny tapes to fight off the boredom factor. Have FUN!!

I know exactly how you feel. Now that I'm about to get the CTX upperbody video I don't know how I'm going to fit it all in. I am going to have to put my PowerHour/Bodymax/MIS DVD on the shelf for a while, or maybe I'll alternate the two weekly. I have enough DVD's to build many many rotations for the future. Now I'm a powerstrike junkie because off all the positive comments I heard about the videos here. So I went and bought both and will buy the 3rd when it comes out. I'm ADDICTED. I need a 12 step program or something. Good luck fitting it all in!

I am always restraining myself from doing all Cathe's videos so I won't "use them all up!" They are so fun to do and for some reason, the more times I see them the more I like them.

Cathe really has provided enough material that I can grow with it for the next 5 years at least. Look at Interval Max. After the day I do them all without mods my next goal will be to match Cathe's form. Then, raising the step!

I personally like to do the same videos for 4-8 weeks (PS once a week for 8 weeks, CTX once a week for 4 weeks, etc.) I find that this way, I can really see how my body responds to each video. I also do the same cardio videos for 4-8 weeks. This way, by the time I get around to a new roation, I haven't done, say, Step Fit in 2 months so it feels like a new tape! Have fun!
