What happened to Desperate Housewives?

I was so looking forward to seeing it again last night, & it turned out to be a rerun. What is going on? I'm about to write off the show if they don't give me a new episode soon, if only out of principle. Suffice to say at this point I am highly annoyed. The show is good but I'm not that hooked. Are you reading this ABC? x(

Yeah, we were disappointed to find out it was a rerun too! They did show clips for next week's NEW show and if I am not mistaken, they said after the clips that all shows from now on would be new and run til the end of the season with no "off" weeks. Did I dream that anyone?? I think that is what they said, sooo maybe they do hear us out here?! :7

I don't watch DH but my husband said if they want to cancel a show, they string the show around until people lose interest so they can cancel it. It's a possibility DH will be cancelled permanently. They've done the same thing with other shows so people wouldn't care anymore. Either that or they will show DH on friday nights when no one is home.

I doubt that this is the case for Desperate Housewives, it's a really hot show for the network. They do this with all shows. Lost has been in reruns for the last few weeks too. And it will be another rerun this week. I'm annoyed, but it gives me a chance to watch the Smallville's that I'm behind on. I think I have at least 3 of them!

I don't think DH is at risk for cancellation. It's just typical for networks to have a lull at this time of year (after February sweeps, and before May sweeps, when they set their advertising prices, based on ratings for those times...happens again after November sweeps). You'll notice there are quite a few reruns on now.

I don't watch DH, but I know the frustration! I have been hooked on several different shows over the years where reruns would suddenly come on for a few weeks with out warning and I would be sooo disappointed!

Have a great work out!

DH is suppose to be a new episode on 3/27. Can't wait, but then again a lot of shows have been in re-runs for the past 2-4 weeks. I think they are gearing up for May sweeps and season finales.
