What gives you the best cuts??

I am curious to see what workouts gave you guys the best definition or "cuts"? And how often did you do that workout per week and for how long..................

I'm only "cut" when I'm really serious about my diet. The muscle is always there, it just depends on what is (or isn't) covering it up.
 
Because I always burn more calories when I do endurance based weight lifting like Power Hour, ME and CTX UB I notice I look more cut after doing a rotation of these workouts. That, combined with cardio on the other days seem to give me the most definition. I don't need to lose weight though, so I don't have much fat covering my muscles to begin with.
 
I had the best muscle definition when focusing on one body part per week. I used S&H and PUB/PLB. I went really heavy for weights and I minimized my cardio to 2-3x per week. I alternated between heavy weight training for 4-6 weeks w/ another 4-6 weeks of muscle endurance workouts.

Just so you know, I have trouble building & maintaining muscle mass so the above routine works for me (I'm an ectomorph). What works for me may not necessarily work for you.

I have more definition when I do more circuit training (cardio and weights) AND really, really watch what I'm putting in my mouth. It's the diet that's most challenging for me because that's the one that makes so much more of a difference, especially in my hips and thighs.

I agree w/ the other posters about diet.. If I am eating clean, that makes the world of difference in how the "cuts" look.

However, I like how my body looks best when I am lifting heavy for my upper body, and more endurance based training for lower. As far as "ab cuts" I see more development in my core when I am doing more kickboxing for cardio, and also using weights in my ab workousts.
