What do you sub for power lunges?

Ok, ladies, I know some of you enjoy these rather punishing exercises, but I don't like power lunges at all. I feel like I am going to injure myself and therefore want to sub something that would be a similar intensity... but a little less hard on the bod.

What do you guys suggest? Maybe air jacks or pylo jacks? I don't mind the jumping part of power lunges; it's the landing with the legs wide open part that feels like an injury waiting to happen...
