What do you do when you miss a workout?

When you guys are following a rotation and for some reason or another you are unable to workout for a few days. Do you pick up where you left off? Or do you follow the schedule for that particular day? I hope you can understand what I'm trying to say.

It all depends on how many days and how I feel.

Sometimes I just go to the next planned workout on the rotation other times I pick up where I left off.

Back in June I was having a hard time following my planned rotation because I had family visiting, so I ended up picking up where I left off once my company was gone. That took my planned June rotation into the 2nd week of July.

Actually I just finished my June rotation a few days ago.

Times where I'm not feeling well or whatever that I can't do my planned rotation I just move on.

Hmmm I hope that made sense.

Honestly it's all up to you ;)

I usually start that week over if I missed working out for 3+ days. I do that because I only start rotations that are selected based on a goal I am striving for...IE: Lower focused, Beachbody Arms etc..... Havining said that - if I werent following a rotation for any particular goal then I say start wherever you want.

I do both, depending on what I missed and where I am in the week. I try to only plan one week ahead so taht I can take into account what else is happening in my life that week. On a busy work week, I try to keep my workouts to only what I can do and when work is lighter, I give a little more time to workouts, etc. More often than not, I just pick up where I left off and move on unless skipping it entirely will leave the plan "unbalanced." What I mean by that is if you missed one day of cardio and one of total body weights, then you can ditch those and move on. If you missed upper but not lower, then maybe you want to back it up a day or two to get both back.
