What did you think of timesaver?

I like to keep my workouts under 45 minutes a day, so I usually do cardio or weights but not both. But I was wondering about the timesaver dvd and what folks think of it? I hear it's a lot like ctx but I rarely see it mentioned.

I think it's good. I haven't had it very long, but I enjoy it when I need a short cardio workout. I don't have the videos that she used to make this (Step Blast, Step Jump and Pump, and Kick Punch Crunch), so for me it's fun. I also have the CTX and that one is talked about more, I think, because there are more workouts on it, and some real killers like Leaner Legs.

I never use Timesaver, but I do have all the workouts that go into it, which I use a lot. I much prefer the actual workouts and their corresponding premixes. I think it's because of the awesome premixes on the actual workouts that I never use Timesaver.

If you want an intro to Cathe or the Body Blast series, then I think Timesaver would be good for that. (CTX, on the other hand, I use all the time).

I love the timesaver DVD! I ended up liking it so much that it convinced me to buy the rest of the Body Blast series.

It is structured a lot like CTX, but in my opinion the cardio portions are not as difficult/intense as CTX.

I haven't done timesaver in awhile because I've actually had the time for longer workouts lately, but they are really good 45 min workouts. (and a lot of fun too)

I have both Timesaver and CTX. I think the cardio is great on both, but in my opinion the upper body work is WAY better on CTX. I just don't feel like I get enough upper body with Timesaver. If you want it for mainly cardio, Timesaver is great.

The Timesavers are good for their name-saving time. The workouts range from 37 to 47 minutes in the 5 workouts. CTX is longer. They are 45 to 60 minutes and there are 6, not 5 of them. So if you are pressed for days and time to workout, Timesaver is an excellent option. It is just a less intense version overall (both in cardio and weights) than CTX. If you are advanced, I'm not sure you'd feel worked out enough. Another great option for a short hard workout is the IMAX 2 blast only premix. Its 41 minutes. You get all 10 blasts and recoveries, a warmup and cooldown-stretch. It just omits the step routines and is AWESOME IMHO. You can alternate that with Muscle Endurance premixes (UB is 43 minutes, lower body is 40 minutes). Or, do the PUB-PLB premix which is 52 minutes. I'm a bigger fan of the Intensity than Body Blast workouts, I guess you can tell!
