What Are Your Weekend Workout Ideas/Plans?

I need some ideas of what workouts to do this weekend. My SO wants me to go to the gym with him today but I hate going to the gym. I'd rather scrub toilets that run on a treadmill. Plus, I haven't actually been in a gym since mid-August. I don't even have a membership anymore!!! :eek:

I was thinking today maybe I'd do BBC Back/Shoulders and Step Blast. (That is, if I'm not suckered in to going to the gym). For some reason, I feel like it would mean a lot to my SO if I went, but I get cranky when someone tries to mess with my w/o's!! ;)

What are everyone else's (tentative) workouts plans for this weekend?
 
It's so cold and yucky here I've decided to take the weekend off to better prepare myself to start the November rotation on Monday(like how I rationalized that?;-) )
 
I just did BBC back and shoulders (loved it BTW) and the cardio. Tomorrow I will do BBC arms and abs plus BOTH cardios!!! Can't wait.

today I did 2 combos for LIS, 2 combos from HIS, and 3 intervals from IMAX 2.

Tomorrow I am going to just take a walk...sort of like a rest day. Plus I'll need it since Monday is challenge day !!!

If you do go in to the gym with your SO, could you try to time it so that you can take a group exercise class while he does his cardio?

Like you, I DESPISE any cardio equipment b/c I get bored so easily, but I always love the classes at the gym! That's how I always did my cardio until I let my membership expire this summer since I have so many wonderful Cathe workouts to use instead!

I did GS Chest and Triceps this morning and will go running this afternoon. It's a beautiful day in South Georgia. Tomorrow morning I'll do GS BSB and I'm not sure if I'll do a workout in the afternoon.

I'm taking a break from my monthly boot camp classes so I'm looking forwarding to doing my own workouts for a change.

Hi Leanne!
I used to be the biggest gym rat with group exercise classes! I very rarely used the cardio equipment, but like you, I gave up my membership in August to my gym (or any gym, actually!) when I got so involved with all my great Cathe workouts.

Can you believe the my SO's gym has NO group fitness?!?!?! NONE. I know, crazy. That's why I'm being so stubborn about not wanting to go. But now it's 1:40, my SO is at the gym and I am headed downstairs for a workout. He is totally fine with it so all is good. :)

Off I go for some BBC and Step Blast. It is so incredibly cold and windy (shall I say "blustery"? ;) here that all I really want to do is snuggle on the couch but I'm trudging downstairs to sweat for a bit)

Wow! I can't believe that his gym doesn't have any group exercise classes! But I'm glad to hear that you were able to stay home and get your own workout in! I'm off to do Imax 3 right now (ug!)!

I'm doing a Jari Love workout today, and probably a walking DVD. I'm having major motivational issues today, though. I need to do my workout so I can say that I've worked out 6 days a week for FIVE FREAKING WEEKS!!!:eek:
 
I had the best of intentions, got up walked the pooch, and looked on the November rotation and saw its a rest day-or rather a Pilates/Yoga day, took a shower, ran errands and am sooo tired-tomorrow its the period thing. I swear the older I get, the more wiped out I am right before, I just feel like laying around. Sigh.

So maybe tonight it'll be the Squeeze workout.

Pippa! You are doing the November rotation too?:7 That is great! Even though I swore off the heavy weights, I figure since its my favorite way to exercise,and this rotation includes Pilates, I have the best of both worlds. I really did try to do just Pilates and stuff but am left "wanting" something more? Does that make sense? So I am going to see how this rotation goes, especially with my clean eating;)
 
I did BBC back and shoulders, the BBC cardio and 4DS LIS. I'm finally starting to get the hang of the choreography on the new series. To be safe I'm still dong it without risers. Since I fell off and sprained my ankle, I look at my step with complete fear. I hope this feeling goes away I use to love step!!;(
 
Great workout plans this weekend, ladies!!

This morning I was just going to lift, but I woke up energized so I threw in the warm up and first 3 cardio drills from Drill Max, then did Gym Styles BSB. Sunday is typically a rest day, but I am considering some light cardio -- maybe a walk around the neighborhood.

The Firm Believers met this weekend in ColaTown. So I worked out at The Firm and BodyFit. I am tired.....
 
Jumping in late here, but yesterday was an 8 mile run and today will be Butts and Guts. Unless I change my mind, which is quite likely:p
 
I can't decide if I'm going to work out today. I really want to do B&G, but on the other hand, I don't really want to do B&G. ;)

Plus, I went hiking with my doggie and SO this morning and just finished vacuuming my entire house which had me sweating like I'd just done all of BM2....

I have to be at my parent's for dinner in 2 1/2 hours so I better get going with a workout if I'm going to do one at all. I just bought ankle weights today for the first time so I'm anxious to do B&G!!

Saturday- Drill Max
Sunday- 4DS Kickbox cardio & parts of legs/KPC abs/B&G
this evening will try to do BM2 Upper & Fat burning fusion

as for events:

Friday: work then dinner at a guy's house I'm "seeing" with all his employees- he likes to cook! Nothing like having 4 personal trainers sitting watching you eat, LOL!

Saturday- Tastefully simple party at a neighbors, then south to my mom's for the afternoon/evening. Then met friends for a drinks when back in town before going to met Chad & his friend and ended up staying out until 1.

Sunday- Cleaning/working out/FOOTBALL! :)
 
Ok, so I managed to do the Leg Blast premix of B&G with the ankle weights floor work and stretch. That's all I had time for. Tomorrow I'm starting Cathe's Nov. rotation alternating each week with a week of BBC. Hopefully tomorrow I can get my butt out of bed early enough to do the B&G abs before work and then the 4DS workout of the Nov. rotation after work. Ugh. It's so hard to fit everything in!!!

All in all, though, I'd have to say that this was a very successful weekend workout-wise!
