What a difference 2 inches makes!

I did LowMax this morning with additional risers (8 inches instead of 6) and WOW it is SO much harder! Does anyone else find that it makes such a big difference or is it just because I'm so darned short (5'1")! My legs were fried afterward.

LOL! just before i opened this, i said out loud, "she better be talking about the way her jeans fit!":+ close enough!!!

I agree Shonie. I did it the first time on just the 6" height to learn it. When I moved up to 8"-yowsa! It's by far my favorite HC of them all!
 
I've been saying this all along. It's amazing how much I sweat and how I feel the burn in my legs with just two more inches!
 
I love LowMax! I'm 5'6" and those two inches make a difference for me too. This type of workout is a great addition to Cathe's higher impact stuff. I hope she makes more of them.
 
That work out is KILLER on the legs. The blast where she does the dynamic outer thighs OVER AND OVER again, and then those sculpt 15's? My quads are SCREAMING. I love it:)
 
I did Low Max for the second time ever today. I've used an 8" step & I have to admit I was very pleased at the intensity level. I didn't have very high hopes & I'm glad I was surprised.

Also I modified & added some power moves just to give the heart rate a little extra boost. It was great fun.
 
Shonie, I had this post in mind when I did Low Max today, and I went for 8" too. WOWSA. I was cruising along, breathing a little heavier than normal but not dying, thinking "huh, this is not so bad", and then Blast #5 hit me like a ton of bricks. My legs would just not bend deep anymore and I had "fire in the thighs" big time ;) . I made it through to the end, though!

I don't remember which one is blast #5. "Fire in the thighs" is right though!

Awww...I'm glad to know that you were thinking about my post while working out! Sometimes, when I'm having a hard time getting through a workout, I'll start thinking about something that one of you girls posted and it will pull me through to the end!

I don't dare try IMAX3 on an 8 inch step!
