Cathlete
Cathe, apart from being given the uncanny ability to maintain that killer bod despite all holiday treats (so jealous!), what special Yuletide gift stands out in your memory?
Mine was given to me when I was in pre-school. Growing up, my ever-so-practical mother never really made a big deal about toys as gifts. It was always books, books, books. Mind you, it didn’t really bother me much; I adore books. But this one year (in a shock move) my parents’ friends had sent me a doll I named Stacey. She stood about 18 inches high. Nothing really peculiar about a doll at Christmas, right, but at that age and at that time of year, I was tickled pink since it had arrived ‘all the way across the water from In-ger-land’. Stacey’s since crossed over to dolls’ heaven, but over 25 years on I still have the fuzzy blue coat she first arrived in.
As always, thanks for your time!
P.S. Hmm, with all those workouts specifically engineered to have us sweating/aching/cursing this year, I wonder if Cathe will end up on Santa’s list of ‘naughty’ or ‘nice'?
P.P.S. Don’t feel too bad if you end up on the naughty list, Cathe. This year I’m pretty sure I’ll be rounding out the top 10!
Peace and many blessings to you and your family this season.
