'We're just a million little gods causing rainstorms......'

'turning every good thing to rust...I guess we'll just have to adjust!!'

Okay, that's the song running through my head today....

What's yours???

"Walked around my good intentions
And found that there were none
Blamed my father for the wasted years
We hardly talked
Never though I would forget this hate
Then a phone call made me realize I'm wrong

And if I don't make it known that I've loved you all along
Just like sunny days that we ignore because
We're all dumb and jaded
And I hope to God I figure out what's wrong

Walked around my room not thinking
Just sinking in this box
Blamed myself for being too much like somebody else
Never thought I would just bend this way
Then a phone call made me realize I'm wrong...."

RE: 'We're just a million little gods causing rainstorm...

"I get knocked down, but I get up again...."

Last night, Cheyenne (my wiener dog) had a little accident when my DH called her downstairs to go out. She was on the bed (we had put her there and forgot) and she cannot jump down cuz' she's just a little wiener. So, poor thing got so upset when she was being called that she piddled on the bedspread a little. I've had the song "I get knocked down" going through my head ever since... mainly because of the chorus!

It's those changes in latitudes, changes in attitudes
Nothing remains quite the same.
With all of our running and all of our cunning
If we couldn't laugh we would all go insane.

These changes in latitudes, changes in attitudes
Nothing remains quite the same.
Through all of the islands and all of the highlands
If we couldn't laugh we would all go insane.

Going on a journey
Somewhere far out east
We'll find the time to show you
Wonders never cease

This was the last song I heard at the end of my workout this morning. I'm stuck for the rest of the day.

"Is there anything a man dont stand to lose,
When the devil wants to take it all away?
Cherish well your thoughts, and keep a tight grip on your booze,
Cause thinkin and drinkin are all I have today.

She said her name was billy jean and she was fresh in town.
I didnt know a stage line ran from hell.
She had raven hair, a ruffled dress, a necklace made of gold,
All the french perfume youd care to smell.

She took me up into her room and whispered in my ear,
Go on, my friend, do anything you choose.
Now Im payin for those happy hours I spent there in her arms,
With a lifetimes worth of the mexicali blues."

And frankly I have I have NO idea why. It just popped into my head while I was lying in bed last night and it's still there this morning.
