Wembler Needs Opinions (Fraggle Rock, Anyone?)

Okay, Wembly was my favorite Fraggle Rock character - he could never make up his mind and never had his own opinion.

So, here goes. PUB/PLB or Push/Pull for my next workout purchase? I'm on week 2 of my S&H rotation and am considering taking it out to 4 weeks since week one was mainly getting used to the program and figuring out my weights.

By then, I'll need a new rotation. So, I'm taking a count!

Thanks for your input!

There are just so many options and right now I'm having to stick with the more moderately priced options!

i love both but i'd say the pyramids are a tougher/better wo. i *heart* them. used them to get back in shape after baby #2. they work!!!

and i loved fraggle rock! now that song is going to be in my head!!:D:D:D

Yep, I agree with Kate. PUB/PLB is an awesome DVD. I love the leg work and the floor work is especially good. Oh and it has a great abs routine. I tend to think of it as a bit tougher than PP/SS.

Oh boy, that is a tough call! I agree with Kate that PUB/PLB is a tougher workout. I rarely do them as produced, favoring the "pyramid down" premixes which are shorter and more fun. Push Pull is a bit easier as produced, but it has a huge fun factor for me; it's a tad shorter, has lots of premixes, and you can grow with it, meaning you can always increase the weights if you feel it's too easy. We often think of modifying to make things easier, but you can also modify to increase the difficulty! You can't go wrong -- they're both GREAT workouts!

P.S. Supersets is a great workout, too, and it's on the same DVD as PP.

I don't have PP, but I absolutely love PUB/PLB!!!! It is super tough as is, and if you do the premixes you can go even heavier! It is fun and very effective!!!! And the stability ball abs is awesome

"down in Fraggle Rock da-da-da" oooh I used to love that show. We didn't have cable, so I only got to watch it on vacation, which made it extra special. Hmmmmm.....which workout. Both is not an option? I've been more into splits recently - and just finished up a PLB/PUB rotation this week. I normally only used PP/SS for easier wt days. They are easier than Cathe's other full body's if done as produced - some of the premixes are tough! The Pyramids have a full body mix on the DVD that is pretty good as well, and a better ab section - in my opinion. Pyramids is tougher as well, esp if you use wts that really challenge you. After SH, you may want to try a bit easier, full body just for a change of pace, so I'd go with PP/SS. Otherwise the Pyramids would be my pick. Crap, that wasn't very helpful, was it?

Both,
Nan

Brings back memories doesn't it? :D I loved FR!!! Found it on NetFlix today too! Guess what I'll be watching? Yes, I watch these things and Pixar movies! Love 'em!

Anyway, both at the same time is not an option at the moment, but one in June and one in July is! Just trying to figure out which way to go! It's so hard because all of her dvds are so good! So, I place my bets on the opinions of those who have gone before me and have just about every Cathe dvd in their collection!

Thanks Nan!
