Wellness program - Team Captain. Donna? YUP!

My employer is sponsoring a 4 month long wellness program. There are going to be teams of 10 competing against each other on how much exercise they do each day and how healthy they eat. Since I was saying that I didn't want any lame-asses on my team and I'd be kickin' people's butts who don't pull their weight (so to speak), they decided I'm going to be the team captain.

Sheesh! I don't know anything about being a team captain. Maybe I'll make a rule that anytime someone from my team comes into my office to request something from me, they have to drop and do 10 push-ups before I'll grant their request. 20 if they want accuracy on my output.:)

You know what, I like that idea. Not just for use during a wellness program, but for ALL the time. People would be a lot less likely to pass their work onto me if they knew they'd have to do pushups for it. The large majority of my coworkers could not do 20 pushups. }(

I'd be willing to bet $20 that I'm the only one in my whole department (men included) who could do 20 straight-legged pushups. We have some exercisers in the department, but I think I'm the only one who does weights. I'm so cool, and they're all dorks. ha ha

Donna, what ever happened with your job interview? (Maybe I missed the follow-up on this...) I hope it was a good experience!!
