Well it came down to the last resort.

Hey ladies,

Just wanted to let you know that it has finally come down to having surgery on my heel. My mri showed inflamation still in my heel so he recommends me having this laser surgery which will only make a small incision and it will take two or three weeks to recover. It was this or he said I could wait six more months or a year to maybe heal. He said that sometimes it takes 2 years to heal and I have already gone through one year. With it being chronic he said I should go for the surgery. Yikes! I am scared and also excited to maybe get back to normal and start jumping around with Cathe again.

Well thanks for letting me share this with all of you. I have not been on for a few weeks wallowing in my pity again, but I have something to look forward to now.



If anyone has had a similiar surgery on their heel, please give some info.

2-3 weeks sounds waaayyy better than another year of pain and maybe healing. What good news. I hope your surgery and recovery goes well. Keep us posted.

I haven't had this type of surgery before, but less than a month to recover is great!
