Well I tried to order Turbo Jam

The Cardio Party 3 & the Fat Blaster (on Marie's recommendation ;-) ) & I was pretty surprised to find how user-UNfriendly these people are. You can't order either DVD on their website. I called the customer service number on their website & they said they only sell the basic package, & that I'd have to call a DIFFERENT customer service number. I said, "boy, you people sure do make it hard to spend my money, huh?" The lady said, "do you want the number or not?" So I took it.

I called the number & it's out of service. I called the other number back & said your CS number is out of service & I just want to order these 2 DVDs. She said she couldn't take my order. I said you just lost a customer. She hung up on me.

So I give up. I'm sticking with Cathe. x(
 
Sorry to hear you had problems ordering.
I usually email Amber Otto [email protected] and get my orders resolved quickly if I have a problem. She's really great with customer service as far as Beachbody is concerned.:)
 
:eek: :eek: :eek: Laura, that is just aweful!! Why do they even answer the phone?? If they are not going to be nice to you at the "sale" phase...can you imagine if you were calling with a post order issue??

I hear nothing but horror stories about BB "customer service". Cathe's, on the other hand, they have always been wonderful, helpful and as energetic as she is. It weighs on my to hand my money to places like BB. Not with Cathe! I'll be funding her retirement!
 
I can't believe it! I'm glad you posted this because I was thinking about ordering, too, but will definitely close that idea off now.

Laura, I'm so sorry! ;( That really stinks. BB customer service is notoriously bad, though, ugh. Did you try the live chat feature? Maybe they can help you there?

Forget the phone, forget live chat, forget email, forget Beach Body customer service...they haven't got a clue.

Actually, I had a decent experience with them last time I ordered BUT I also didn't have any questions, concerns, or issues. This seems to be key. That and a lot of luck and a one-time only credit card and patience and good karma and....

Wouldn't it be nice if all customer service was as great as Cathe's. Have you thought of calling BB back and asking to speak to a manager, I am sure they would be more than happy to take your order.

I did not know that it was possible to just order 1 or 2 of the Turbo Jam workouts, I have been under the impression that you had to buy the entire Turbo Jam set. I know that they have some special deals on a few of the Live TJ workouts that you can purchase individually. I have seen a ton of TJ workouts on Ebay sold individually, have you tried there?

I just purchased the Turbo Jam Maximum results workouts from BB and I had a wonderful experience with the customer service rep, and I got the priority shipping for the standard shipping price. I had a great experience with customer service last time I bought my P90X workouts as well. Maybe you just got a few people that were not having a great day, I would call back and speak to a manager.

Just for the record, I tried the manager route, no improvement at all. But that is my experience. I'm still working on "where's my credit for the multiple charges". Good Luck.
 
Laura...save yourself the aggravation. There are far more bad customer service experiences with BB than good. Apparently they are never going to change their ways. The multiple payment plans is their gravy money so I assume that is why they don't encourage/accept single payments for order's. They just keep charging and charging your credit card and they rely on the theory that many people do not check their cc records.

I have had two bad experiences buying direct from Cathe/SNM too so they are not without problems themselves.

I buy my dvds from three sources only:

1) Collage
2) Amazon.com
3) Ebay-be sure to use Paypal-do not pay with check or money order.

I have never had an issue with Collage's customer service. Always professional, fast shipping, and ready to replace any defective dvd's in a timely manner. Same with Amazon and Ebay because I always pay with a cc so if the transaction goes bad I get my money refunded and only have to wait 30 days for it. It took me 4 months to get a refund from Cathe/SNM. That was the last purchase I made/will make here.

I always order through Amber because of how bad BB customer service is. She has always been awesome, never messed up an order and I have never had any weird BB charges on my credit card. It's still pretty sad that you have to go this route though. :-(

Thanks for the advice guys. I am trying the ebay route--it makes me nervous--I'm afraid I'm gonna get a used DVD that's all scratched & skipping--but I guess I can risk the $20.

Would you believe, I actually did ask to speak to a supervisor, & they told me they didn't have any? I can't believe a customer service dept. doesn't have anyone running the show.........no wonder they're so bad!
 
It's just these continued nightmare posts that keep me from every trying to order from that company. How do they stay in business?!
 
That's really shocking!! I was going to order too. Is this the same number that is on the infomercials?

FORGET IT! I have had four NIGHTMARE experiences with Beachbody. Every time, I have climbed the ladder, after hours of arguing (and I worked in customer service, so I don't argue unless absolutely necessary, being that I know what it is like on the receiving end), and honestly, I found that the managers were just as bad as the reps! There was only *one* time that I felt they had made me whole but I also spent about ten hours on the phone with them....just to spend my money on their product. Never tried so hard to spend my money and ended up with aggravation beyond belief.

The fact that people have special contacts w/in the copmany to avoid customer service says it all :)

So I say that if really want them and can get them elsewhere, go ahead. But otherwise, save yourself the hassle. Like I have told them a million times, it's a shame b/c their product is pretty good
 
I did get my Turbo Jam and I am not enjoying them. I've tried to get into it, but just can't. I think I'll be listing these on ebay and getting another Cathe instead. I think the poor customer service did you a favor!!
