After talking about it for a couple of years and losing almost 70lbs (69 1/2), I finally went and got my navel pierced! I found out about a place from a girl at work that's super clean. DH and I checked it out today after lunch and I really liked what I saw, so I went ahead and did it! I still have about 20 lbs that I'd like to lose, but at least I can enjoy it when I get there, right???

Sorry, Edy (bestoutwest) I jumped the gun on our "scheduled" date! It hurt a little bit, but not bad at all. Now starts the healing process.

The guy was cute (gorgeous blue eyes!), very informative, VERY knowlegable and super clean! He changed his gloves 4 times just setting up!!! I was impressed because they sterilized everything that touched me right before going through the process!!!

I just wanted to share!!!

Do you just love it??? Did it hurt? I am probably not going to be able to wait until Nov. 2 either! I ordered a barbell online and once I get it I'm going to take it to them to get sterilized, then probably go for it!!!

Congratulations Amy, how exciting. I had mine done a long time ago, took it out when I was pregnant and it closed up. Now I have a huge stretch mark there. x( I don't think I'd ever get it done again, it might hide the stretch mark though. :7
