I just got this video from Fit Prime. It was on sale for $14.95. The instructor is Traci Long, and it kicks butt,or at least mine. I have several Fit Prime tapes, and like to mix them with my Cathe tapes. If you are looking for a good inexpensive tape. I recommend this one.

Hi Hopeful!

Thanks for the heads up! I don't currently own any Fitprime tapes, but due to some "injuries" have been looking into more low-impact, endurance/strength type workouts, and Fitprime has been on my list of workouts to "research". I am still on the fence a little, as some of the reviews I have read have said that the workouts can be a little "weird" or "strange"?? I am certainly open to new and different (and safe!!) ways of training, however, I am not into "wacky" stuff, Lol! I really love Cathe's teaching style and her ability to "get the job done".
I have been looking at the Crunch Time/From the Ground Up DVD - do you have these workouts? If so, would you be kind enough to give me a little more information about them?
Thanks in advance!

I was looking for variety when I started buying these tapes. They are different, but that's what makes them good. The only one I've bought that I'm not crazy about is Steaming Cardio. It is a good workout, but there are is one spot inparticular where the tape has been editted poorly, and it throws me off everytime. Some people don't like the sets, but that doesn't matter to me. They aren't Cathe tapes, but they are better than a lot of stuff out there.

I've been looking online for Fit Prime videos and they are super expensive! Where did you find it for $14.95??

Backy, check the Swapmeet on the Firm YaYas board - there are usually quite a few listings for FitPrime VHS.

And for those who haven't tried FitPrime: if production values are important to you, these might not be the workouts for you. the FitPrimes are filmed in what looks like a home rec room with a single instructor and no background exercisers; the lighting can be a little flaky (especially Weights First); and some of the editing is choppy. As a devoted Cathe-ite who is spoiled by her brightly lit sets, motivated background exercisers and almost flawless editing, the FitPrimes were a big step down for me. Check out the clips on Collage Video before you buy.

I got the Fitprime videos from an advertised sale on an email notice. Production quality probably isn't as important to me because I wear glasses. I will wear them when I am first learning a tape, and then I work out half blind after that. Can't wear contacts, and hate my glasses sweating down my nose. The tape was definately worth $14.95 to me!
