Weighted Vest & Squat Rack Legs

Did anyone complete the squat rack portion of STS using a weighted vest instead of a squat rack? I remember reading that you could do this but I don't know if I'm dreaming that up lol! Last round, I did the Plyo legs but on round 2 I'm thinking squat rack just to change it up; I just don't have room for an actual squat rack!
 
I bought the weighted vest and completed squat rack sts. It really does help, but I think I am going to have to get a squat rack because my strength has gone through the roof. Last night I was doing my figuring 1 max rep, I squated 90 lbs. that is 70 on bar and 20 on vest. I did this 10 times fairly easy. I can't lift much more than 70 over my head. I am fixing to start on May 2 STS 6 month rotation. So I have a little while. I am going to be looking around for a squat rack. Good luck!!!!!
 
I do use my weighted vest with my squat rack. It's 20 pounds, so if my workout sheets indicates I need to use 85#, then I'll just load 65#on the barbell sinceI have 20 pounds on the vest I'm wearing.:D
I also use it for front squats and static lunnges.

I do not wear the vest for dead lifts, though.

Have fun with Squat Rack legs! It's really fun!
 
I love my weighted vest and I couldn't do Squat Rack Legs without it. The SqRL workouts are the best out there, IMO!!!! I have long legs and endurance workouts don't do much for me. :D
