Weight Watchers users...

Jennifer-
over at the WW Daily checkin there are people at all stages of program... We'd love to have you "come by and visit every day!"

I am new to WW; only been on it about a month (also went on vacation the second week). I've lost about 2 pounds so far. I started out with only 10 to lose so I expect(ed) the weight to come off slowly.

My daily allowance is 20 pts. I usually earn anywhere from 3-7 activity points which I calculate by using my HR monitor and then counting 1 AP for every 100 I earn. I usually use most of my AP's. I also use the bulk of my FP. My friend who lost 90 pounds on WW told me that she would automically take away 10 FP to cound for errors in calculating and also incidentals (i.e. milk in coffee; bite of this or that). I think that's a pretty good policy so I have implemented in my own plan.

What love about WW is the flexibility that it offers. I love having the extra FP which I use on the weekends when I almost always go out to dinner or to a dinner party. I don't go crazy and eat everything in sight but at least I know nothing is off limits. Too strict diets always make me fall off the wagon which can lead to givin up and then, a binge. I'm happy to say that since starting WW I haven't binged once and with the exception of my 5 day vacation when I didn't track points, I've stayed within my allowance each week.

I'm prepared to stay on WW as long as it takes to lose the remaining lbs. I have set no deadline for myself. Just take in one day at a time and stay OP.

Sorry for the longwinded entry.

Buffy
