Good Morning, Campers!!!

Work is going okay. I have one of the same patients that I had last week, but she is MUCH better!!! I am hoping that she is able to transfer out of the ICU today!

I am starting to feel my yoga workout yesterday! I don't have a clue where I got the idea that yoga wasn't a "workout", but man, when I was done, I was dripping sweat!!! It's definitely a keeper because I could use the increased flexibility as well as the other benefits! Heck I just wanted to toss it in because my rotation called for another rest day and I wanted to do something to wake myself up before work. I have found that I don't do so well at work if I don't workout beforehand.

Anyway, I just wanted to get our day started. Did I read correctly that Traci was at the bay? I think that I missed something somewhere. I'll have to go back and re-read yesterday.
 
Good Morning WW's:)

Last night was pretty good. He was awake as normal but his needles didn't seem to be bothering him. I was a little worried that he may not eat as much and it only takes a couple of days for someone milk supply to decrease but he is eating as normal. I have also started pumping again in the mornings, I stopped it for a while but I need to have some milk in the freezer...and i am also hoping this will burn more cals cause I am making more milk:) :) :) :) :)

Amy, you are right, Traci is at the bay. I bet she is enjoying a nice relaxing weekend.Hope you have a good weekend at work.

Well....the scale was down AGAIN today:) It read 138.3! Last week this time I was more then 143 but can't remember the full number.Im debating weighing in on WW now b/c we may end up doing something tonight and the scale may go up a little...or it may be down again tomorrow morning, although I doubt it. It was awesome to see the 130's!!! I have to admit I thought it was going to be a lot harder to get there. I am not having much difficutly at all sticking with the program but I have learned not to eat my activity points or to dip into my flex points. I know they are there for a reason but I also get 30 points b/c I am breastfeeding and I think if I eat more then that I won't lose.When I stop breastfeeding Im sure Ill be eating my activity points.

I think I am just going to run today. Maybe a nice long one. They are having a little gathering for my friend who had the baby so I need to workout, go buy something and go over there this afternoon.

Good Morning....Amy, what Yoga workout did you do?? I have been so tempted to try one, I just can not get into it. I always heard Bryan Kest has good workouts.....my scale was way down this morning too!! It said 140.5, back to where it was Feb. 1st. WOO HOO!!!! I was happy!!!

Well, I will be doing my treadmill workout this morning, I downloaded an iTread off from iTrain. They had free workouts this week, or how wever long....I want to try it.

I am cleaning now and in a while the boys are going out w/ DMIL so I can finally get on the TM! I was going to workout now, but I figured since they won't be here I'll wait. I really need to clean anyhow. :(

Hey Gals,

Back to report my workout. I just finished a 8 mile run:) I just said to DH , I can't beleive I took a yr off from exercising and in 3 weeks I am back up to what I use to do before. Its amazing what the body can do. I also used DD Ipod so the run went by really fast with some music.

Jessica, I am really enjoying WW's. I have to log in my food daily but I eat pretty much the same thing everyday so its not that hard.I get 30 points and 35 flex points a week to spend however I want. In the first week I lost 4 lbs, the second week 2.1 lbs, last week nothing and this week almost 5 lbs. I don't think I lost anything the 3rd week b/c I was dipping into my activity points and my flex points and with an allowance of 30 points, I was probably eating to much.Not to mention it was mostly sweets I was eating. When I finish breadtfeeding I guess my points will be around 20 points and I will be eating my flex points and activity points then.But with that being said, I am hoping to be at my goal weight within 3 m and I will be able to follow WW"s on my own. I can pretty much figure out how many points is in a certain food but you can also add recipes online and they will tell you how many points is in each serving,thats a great thing.I am now 8-9 lbs from my pre preg weight and 12 lbs from my goal weight.Im not normally hungry but I am ready for my meals when its time to eat and when I go to bed I am usually a little hungry but if I were really hungry I would have something to eat. Im just trying to pick the healthiest foods and drink lots of water for my breast milk.

Kali, Im glad to hear you worked up a good sweat last night. Its all in what you do! I think I would be totally confused if I had to step without a step:)

Lori, the core program must be working for ya! Its a great feeling, isn't it?

Belinda, do you know what workout your doing today?

Amy, glad you loved the yoga. That sounds great. Sounds like you're having an okay time at work today also. I'm glad.

LoriG - WOW, on the weight. I was all set to hear you maybe would bounce back up a bit today and was worried you might be disappointed. What great news you're still heading in the other direction. You've hit your "zen". No turning back now.

LoriS, what a big relief to be back to where you were on Feb. 1. YAHOO!!! Now you're cookin'. This will be a wonderful month.

Kali, nice to get the cleaning done early - hope you have a good TM run.

Jessica - I am personally sold on the counting calories with SparkPeople option, as I think you already know - possibly coupled with WW for the inspiration and help at the meetings for as long as that helps you... that was the magic ticket for me, but now tracking myself on my own with SP is ample.

Well, gals, I had a real upper this morning. I'm fighting off getting sick, I can tell - was waking up during the night with that pain in the sinuses that happens when you have an infection setting in. Dang it.

But I decided to go to my group run anyway with the club. It's been about 6-8 weeks since I've made it out to a Saturday run with the group. Well 3-4 of them said they didn't recognize me at first when I got out of the car because I'd lost so much weight, especially in my face. WOO HOO!!! That was the upper this girl needed to hear for today. It made me so happy.

Ran for 75 min with the group but my running partner was feeling sick and wanted to stop at that point. So I went home and finished up with 45 more min. on the TM. So I did get 2 hours of running in, which had been the goal, but not consecutively...

Scale holding even at 124.2 - I think I'm holding a little fluid becuase of the sickness I'm fighting. That's okay. bf% staying the same.

today I did S & H Chest and Back! I think I am doing pilates later on:) No sure which on? My DVD's (CTX) that I odered last week are not coming until the 6.March. Mail is really slow!

That is amazing! If you feel like your comming down with a cold, take some Airborne! That stuff really works! It is all natural!!!! Hope you feel better! Get some rest!

Way to go on your run's Cheryl and Gidge. How's the little guy feeling? Cheryl hope you don't feel too bad.

Great workout Belinda. I have to buy some pilates but have no idea what the hec to get.


Well my TM workout is done. What a difference as far as the sweat factor goes compared to stepping w/ no step! Holy Crap. My tank top has 1 tiny little spot where it's not drenched! So I did 40 min. I walked 5 min. uphill, then ran for a little over a minute. Each time I tried to go a few seconds longer. I had my mp3 player on so it went by pretty quick. Not sure if I'm going to do the TM tomorrow or a workout. I really like Cathe's workouts so I'm hoping I'll still get results if I still do them without the step. I don't think I can do the TM all the time. I'll give it a chance tho. Boy it's tough breaking out of the norm!

Off to have a salad and get cleaned up. Be back later. Hope everyone is well!

Cheryl, i guess you have a little bit of motivation!:) I would have never went home and finished my run...LOL I would have called it quits with my friend. When I ran with my running partner, if one wasn't feeling up to it, we would go on home. Really, it was an excuse to go home!:) I guess I fooled you with the weight loss, you thought I was gonna go back up..hahahaha!! Jokes on you! Just kidding, I wouldn't be surprised if I was back up to 140 tomorrow but thats o.k b/c I saw 138 and I know its just around the corner, plus 140 was my goal this week. I guess my goals are gonna have to be a little smaller and realistic now, maybe a 1-2 lb loss a week.

Kali, good job on the workout. I was soaked when I finished my run as well. DD's music kept me energized though and I can't beleive a 90 min run gave me 6 stink'in points on WW. I must have burned 800 cals and all I got was 6 points! LOL Rylan is really good today. I think he was having a little bit of pain earlier today but tonight he is back to himself.

Belinda, I never do pialtes or yoga but I really should give it a try once a week. I bet its a great workout when done correctly.

I went to visit my friend and her baby and people were commenting again on how good I look for having a baby 8 weeks ago. Its nice to hear but it is a little embrassing b/c everyone else in the room turns to stare at you.
My inlaws were over for dinner, they picked up pizza but I made myself another wrap.Breastfeeding is a great excuse not to eat crap!

I will probably be back later. I am a little lazy and its only 8 o'clock, I think the baby and the run as me beat out:)

Good job passing on the pizza Gidge! I'm beat too. I cleaned all afternoon then my workout. I don't think I'm going to be up too late tonight. Glad Rylan is doing good. That's awesome how well you are doing after just having him 8 weeks ago. You're an inspiration. Checking in here is what helped me "turn the corner" so to speak. That rots about your points tho! I don't believe how tired I am. I think I'm going to get up and go clean some more otherwise I'm going to be down for the count and it's not even 7 o'clock here! I'll be around all night tho if you want to chat on msn.

I just had a big green salad w/ some chicken breast, chick peas and some 2% cheese and hard boiled egg whites. YUM-E! I can still have 3 protein supplements since I only had a soup one so far today but I'll probably just have a pudding one later.

Hey all!!

Well, it sounds like everyone had a good day. I did a 30 min The Joy of Yoga with Sara Ivanhoe then 30 minutes of P90X yoga. It's the P90X yoga that I'm definitely feeling in my back and obliques today!!!:7

Cheryl- WOW, 2 hrs of running! I'm with Gidget, I'd've given up with the running partner!!!

Gidget- Awesome job passing up the pizza! I know how hard that can be....DH ordered one this last week.

LoriS- WOOO HOOOOO!!! on the scale results!!! I am glad that Core is working out well for you!!!

Jessica- I started out with WW and counting points, then sort of morphed into counting calories with SparkPeople last September. I found that with Cathe, WW just didn't give me enough points to eat and still lose weight.

Kali- Keep up the great work!

Well, tonight was PUB. I really pushed myself too! I really like that workout because I always feel so pumped up afterwards. I did the abs section before everything else, though, or I'd NEVER be able to even attempt the pikes!!! As it is now, anyway, I can't do the pikes on my hands, I have to drop to my elbows. I *was* able to do some of the roll-ins on my hands, though, which is an improvement! AND I was able to do ALL the flutter kick sit-up/partial crunch combos with the ball and that's an improvement as well. I usually have to quit with about 4-5 left to do.
