Good Morning:)

How is everyone? Any plans for the weekend? DH still hasn't decided what he wants to be tonight so I don't think I am going to go anywhere!
I took my measurements today, thinking it had been a month since I took them but its only been since the 7th. I'll post them anyway.

Weight 121.5 (down 2.5 lbs)
Calves-14.5 (same)
Thighs-20.5 (same)
Arms - 10.5 (same)
Chest- 33 (same)
Waist-26 3/4 (down 1/4) LOL
Hips- 34.5 (down 1/2 )
Nothings changed much! LOL Im not expecting big changes anymore anyways.

I guess next week this time I will be just getting home from my first night at work;( Ill be talking like this all week. haha

Today I am going for a run (surprise) and I would like to get the GS ub's in again. Not sure if that is possible b/c we are going to take DS out some time today and have his pics taken in his Halloween costume in some leaves...somewhere! We need to find a nice tree and lots of leaves.

Im gonna see what I missed yesterday!

Didn't miss much. Only cheryl.

Belinda, have fun with your workout!

Cheryl, sounds like you had a good day yesterday! Work settled down a little for ya?

Amelia, did you get that new scale?

Laine, how is Ewan feeling today? How about yourself?

Carrie,Cheryl is right, you WILL be firmed up in no time. Did you use Cathe workouts prior to being preggo?

Lori:)

Good Morning Ladies!:)

AWWWWWW....I love my Coffee:9 I woke up with DOMS in my bi's and tri's and abbs,so todays workout will be BBC/legs then another power walk with ankle weights!

I've got to go grovery shopping today,Im running out of my clean stuff . Im SO VERY proud of myself, there was left-over pizza here yesterday in the fridge and I didn't touch it:eek: I had to heat some up for my kids and smell it too:eek:

Belinda-You go girl with your 50min indoor bike ride and S&H shoulders,^^^^5's! I thought about doing shoulders today but my arms are sore:( I love doing shoulders}( How did your unpacking-of-the-boxes go?

Lori-Our little Running Queen;-)Can you beleive that ds still has no costume:eek: were going today to find him one,I saw an adorable dog costume that has long floppy ears....his sister is being a cat-I thought that would be cute together! Whats your kids going as? I didn't get to get out and purchase my scale yet....its on my to-do list, lol. I'll be getting one sometime in the near future:+.

Carrie-Well,I gotta say"I loved BBC" Im also a Cathe loyalist and before i purchased bbc,i only owned Cathe workouts! I have purchased other instructors like denise austin and Jari love but in the end-I either sell them on ebay or donate them to the library! IMO Cathe is the best out there(i haven't tried Amy Bento or Leslie-forgot her last name?)! But this new series-BCC-is a nice "break" from cathe, there intensity is almost the same as cathe! OK,im not trying to persuade ya to buy them but, there only 19.95(for all five workouts) on HSN.com ;-):p! Have a great day!

Lainie-How are things way up there in NY? I hope everybody is feeling better today!

Cheryl-UMMMM,I love applebee's-the last time I was there I got the Tortilla Chicken Melt and the Choc. Raspberry Layer Cake:9 Good stuff!Glad to hear you had a good time!

Thankgoodness my computer quit being all weird! I've got to get my am walk over with....bbl

Good morning Ladies! Everyone is up so early, I feel like a slacker, being in the Central Time Zone.

Today--what to do? My husband and dog are out pheasant hunting, so I have a day of no plans, just hanging with Ryan. I think the workout today may be ambitious. A little cardio and weight action. Cardio will either be a run or Body Max 2 (if it shows up in my mailbox today). Then I would really like to hit UB weights. I have been following the 4ds/1body part per day, but I feel like it would be nice to maybe do a MMax premix to hit everything one more time.

Lori--your measurements look great, I haven't taken my measurements. I am a slave to my scale, and the mirror. What is your son going to be for Halloween? Yes, I did do cathe prior to preggo, but did not do them while preggo--to depressing. I just walked, and gained, like 35 lbs. You really should run in a race, if you ever have the opportunity--i think you would like it.

Amelia-I am glad you are enjoying BBC. It's nice to add variety. Does he include weights? Are the BC similiar to a Cathe bootcamp? Have fun on your walk. Do you weight train on your own? Or follow a dvd?

Cheryl--applebees is excellent! Glad you enjoyed it.

Belinda--great workout, do you go to the gym?

Lainie--Thanks for the warm welcome, hope you have a good start to your weekend.

BBl,
Carrie

Amelia, good job on not eating any junk! You know, sometimes all it takes is that kind of discipline to keep going. Whenever I wanted to drop a couple of pounds, the first day was the hardest. If I got through that day then I could keep going.

Carrie, I didn't do anything when I was preggo:eek: and I worked out alot prior to getting preggo! I kept running for a little while but I really had to watch my HR. And we tried to get pregnant for so long that I didn't want to risk it. So after a couple of weeks, I stopped altogether and started walking. Then the nerve in my back started acting up and I couldn't even walk without being crippled the next day, soooooo I ended up gaining 50 lbs:eek:. I think if we have anymore I will keep working out. I say that now but I have also forgotten how sleepy I was in the beginning! HA
I took my measurements right from the get go. But I didn't take pics. I wish now that I had. I have a few pics of myself after I had had him but none in workout clothes. Its hard to do in the beginning but its nice to see how far you came after.

DS is going to be a monkey for Halloween. He even as a banana in his back pocket! As for DD, she doesn't know what she wants to be and i think she is running out of options! There is nothing left uptown.

I just got back from my run and it wasn't a good one. I don't know where these stitches are comming from but its the same ones that I had yesterday! I pushed through then and made it home. Prehaps i will take tomorrow off! Maybe then they will disapppear. This also depends on the weather though. If it calls for rain on Mon, then Ill probably go.
Anyway, a 82 mins run under my belt...not sure whats next. Still sitting in my workout clothes.

Lori:)

Man, I wrote this whole post and lost it. Grrr.

Long story short: I'm not sick but Ewan is still snotty (but not feverish). Staying home today. Cleaning house. Blah blah blah.

Short personals (I'd done longer ones that are gone now)

Belinda, hope you enjoyed your workout.

Lori, great job running even though you had some pain. And I wish I had your measurements!

Amelia, congrats on resisting pizza! You know, I own BBC but haven't tried it yet, and now I've got so many new workouts coming I want to try!

Carrie, I guess Ryan is your first child? I've got two boys--Isaac, age 5, and Ewan, age 2.

I didn't get much exercise when preggo with Isaac and gained 50 lbs. With Ewan I worked out regularly for at least the first 6 months (with a pregnancy workout video) and still gained 50 lbs. Both were also kind of big babies and I had extra fluid, so that didn't help.

OK, here's hoping I don't lose this one. I'm going to copy it just in case!

Lainie, they're adorable!!!!

Carrie - hard not to "lose it" a little while you're preggo and then it's so hard to get it back when you have the stress of a new baby involved. But you're so close, and you'll do it. Pheasant hunting? Wow!

Belinda, great workout choice! Hope it's a fun one.

Amelia, I'm so impressed you were able to stay away from that pizza. Good job!!

Lori, sorry your run was a bad one. Are you drinking enough? Sometimes stiches are due to dehydration... just a thought.

I did the new Boot Camp this morning and then previewed the new KickBox while I did a 45 min TM run. Fun, and just right. Love both of them. I think the new KB will be a great travel workout as well. I could do double cardio and then the ab segment, which doesn't require equipment on this one... that would be just right. Woo hoo!

Well, off to grocery shop and get a little ironing done. DH and I may catch a movie tonight.

Have a great afternoon, everyone!

Cheryl
