I often like to where the 20# weight vest while incline training on the treadmill or hiking in the mountains in AZ (where I live). My question is when trying to estimate calories burned, should I add 20 pounds to my body weight. For instance when I enter my weight in the treadmill should I add the extra 20 pounds as if I weight 165 instead of 145?
