You have started out with two great series, but since you are new to Cathe, I would probably chose the crosstrain xpress series, since they are both cardio and weight training on one tape. In the 6 tape series, there are 5 with 30 min. of intense cardio, followed by 10-15min of weight lifting for a specific upper body part, and the 6th tape is a lower body workout, so that series is a total package, cardio and weights, and you can mix them around as you please.
Pure Strength Series is an awesome series as well, but they are weight training only, so you will have to add cardio to those.
This forum is extremely supportive, and you should find all the guidance and support you need 24hrs/day.
Also, since you mentioned weight loss, there is a weight loss check-in posted every week, I just joined in on that one myself, and once a week you can post your progress, eating plan, exercise plan, whatever you want to share.
