Weight Loss/Fat burning questions

Ok you guys, I need your help. I am getting married in June and I also have a camping trip with some old friends in early July. So, I am really wanting to drop some weight and firm up. I have just recently quit smoking which of course is great. But unfortunately, I already needed to lose some weight. But now, I need to lose even more weight. UGH!

The problem is, is that I am really confused on weight lifting and aerobics. I mean, some of Cathe's videos have both included in the workout. You know, where she does some step aerobics then lifts weights, then back to step aerobics. Would this type of workout be best? Or would step aerobics on one day, then weight lifting the following day be better?

The other question I have is about carbs. I am seeing "low carb" everything all over the place. I have always been a high protein, low fat dieter in the past. Now I am wondering if low carb would be a better way to go.

Thanks,
Kelly

Combining weights with aerobics (in both) is a great idea, saves time after all. I don't think there is a best way to go, just put in the effort (ie - 90%) with whatever activity you enjoy and you should see results. I will, however say, don't go low carb and low fat, its not nice and will make you sick. If you must do low carb, go high fat. Check out what i eat in a day ... tis low (ish) carb, high fat. W x
