Dear Cathe,

Hi! I hope your injury is getting better. I first started with your workouts in February 2005. My first was MIS. I love it, it is my favorite. I also preordered for the first time. I am not worried. I have plenty on other tapes to keep me busy until I get the new ones. This is my first time posting. I have a question that is kinda long. I hope that you have time for it. In 2002 at the age of 42 I had my fifth child. I am ashamed to admit it but I did not stop smoking until I became pregnant with her. I have almost 4 1/2 years
of being a non smoker. YEAH!!! I had never exercised regularly in my life until I had Aliya. I believe that between the quitting smoking and having a baby I gained 54 pregancy pounds. The most I had ever weighed in my life was 142. I weighed 174 when I gave birth. The weight did not come off easily like the other 4 times. At 8 weeks postpartum, I started light exercise. (MY 3rd c-section)
I stepped up and down on a 3 inch step listening to music from the 70's and 80's. When I say stepped up and down, that is what I mean. Very simple. About five months later I started doing the firm tapes. They helped alot. I lost some weight but not all of it. So in November of 2003 I joined Weight Watchers weighing 140 pounds. I meet my goal weight of 123 in June of 2004. I don't know how I could keep up with all my kids if I did not work out 5 to 6 days a week. MY kids are (boy)21, and all girls 10,9,6,3,. In February 2005,I decide I need more challenge. I bought MIC. WOW! I quickly bought more of you VHS'S. I am in better shape than any other time in my life. The problem, finally, is since doing your workouts I have gained weight. I now weigh 131. (I am 5'4") I would like to get down to 125.
I have tried a rotation of yours for weight loss. Two to three days of circuit training and 1 to 2 days of interval training. Nothing is working. I also interval workout on a treadmill 2 or 3 times per week. What I want is a workout that will help me lose 6 pounds, lower my body fat, especially in my stomach and legs, and really define my upper body. The workouts of yours that I have are:

The lst 3 were christmas presents. I have not done Imax 3 yet. I am trying to learn the other three first.
Leter this month I think I am going to purchase the PUB & PLB DVD.

Can you give me some ideas on a workout and any other workouts I need to round out what I have. I have always had big legs and when I lift heavy lower body, they get bigger. I have 1 to 1 1/2 hours every day. I get up at 6am to workout.
I am sorry this is so long. I really need some help.
