Weekend Workouts?

Well, we had a thread about what people's weekend plans, but how about your weekend workouts?

I'm looking for inspiration because a) I'm not feeling well, and b) my own workout plans are still entirely open today.

I'm probably doing some sort of circuit workout today and Pilates tomorrow.

I'm probably going to do some sort of light circuit and stretching this weekend since I'm recovering from a bad head cold. It will have to wait until after the soccer marathon for my DS though. Last game of the season, should be fun!

I just got finished with my workout. I have my own cardio + weights Cathe mish-mosh workouts. After a week of doing no Cathe cardio (only my cardio machines) because of a hurt foot, today I was again able to Cathe cardio. I did my own verson of Hardcore extreme. Here is what I did: Kick Max warmup and blast challenge, Imax 3 blasts only two times through, and finally HSTA cardio #5, #3, #4, #5, #3, #5, #3, #4. Cardio was around 80 minutes. After cardio I did "heavy" legs---again, my own Mish-Mosh of Cathe's Gym-style legs. I feel so good right now and am loving my Cathe!! Can't wait for the new DVDS!!

Hope you feel better ... take care

"work work"

I haven't worked out in 3 days due to a chest cold. Today was my first day back. I did a generic f/b weight work out plus 6 Min. Abs which took me about an hour to finish and then did a 20 minute Itread work out at the gym after that.

I have no idea what's on tap for tomorrow yet...

Lainie:

if you're not feeling well, then either rest, or keep it light. You need to get better, not worse!! ilates sounds like a good idea.

I have no idea what exercise I will do today. I play it by ear every day.

When I am feeling blah and want to work out but feel a strong urge to just lie down on the couch, I will try something I've never done before or a workout that's lighter and pure fun, like Supersets. Love the music on that one. So, 2 days ago, feeling just like this, I did Push/Pull, which I have never done before, first premix, 2 times through the entire workout. Because I didn't know what was coming, there was no dread factor, and I just kept pushing through. It was a great workout!

Hope you feel more like yourself tomorrow,

Clare

Drill Max & standing part of Reach this morning
Mix It Up & BM2 Upper later this afternoon

tomorrow:
Powerstike 1
Plyo Legs

Love my weekend workouts as I have WAY time than during the week! :)

Well, for me, this morning was tough and fast HIIT on the treadmill, abs and Stretch Max.
Tomorrow is a scheduled rest day, but I'm toying with the idea of doing Yee's Power Yoga Total Body in the AM to start the day off!

Friday was Gin Miller day, today was the first section of Keli Roberts' Step it Strong, The rest of the day is dedicated to watching the USC/UNC game. So far USC is winning....Clemson has the weekend, off.

Today was PUB. Tomorrow PLB and probably a run in the afternoon. The weather is truly beautiful this weekend.

Today was Barry's Boot Camp Total Body and Barry's Boot Camp Legs and Glutes.

It was a killer workout!

I don't know what my workout will be tomorrow. I have to see if I can walk after today!!!

This morning I did 200 walking lunges and the ankle weight and stability ball segments from B&G.

This afternoon I did the power circuits from BM2.

Now it's time for a shower. }(

Yesterday I ended up doing just a couple combos from Low Max (trying to go easy on my ankle still) and then I did the upper body premix from Kelly Coffey-Meyer's NYC: A New You Coming workout.

Today it's yoga or Pilates--still deciding though I'm about to start in a couple minutes.

Clare -

This is what I posted on the Cheetah's thread - Back from the Half - beat my old time by 5 minutes, so I can't complain! It was tough as my reoccuring blister was back with a vengence around mile 8, So I had to work around that, but I did it! It was a nice day, gorgeous, actually, and the route is pretty flat (except for some underpasses, and those aren't too bad. Bands every mile or so and cheer squads in between, so there was always something to listen to and watch. I just love seeing the mix of runners. There was a guy who came in about the same time I did who had a shirt that said, "I may be Fat, but I'm in front of you" I ran behind him for a while and got to chuckle. As we run through some residential areas, we had a great amount of amatuer talent - including a guitarist who could not have been more than 5. He was adorable, and actually, not bad at alL! Amazingly enough!

Hi! Tomorrow's back to work...

Sat I did GS Legs and this morning I did Imax Extreme and then tonight I did 7.5 miles on the elliptical at heart rate of 80%. Feels good!

Have a great rest of the night everyone!
