++++ Weekend, Weekend ++++

Calvillo, I'm hungry now!
TRish, Sorry for no sleep!
Hey Lisa! How ya doin'?!

No big plans today - church, eat, etc....
Have a good one!

Kate I hope you got some sleep last night! I was up from 2-3 with an AF backache, so Im sure I"ll start today.
Im prininting a few recipes I saw on foodnetwork this morning.
Everyone have a great day!
Come on Julia!!!!

Kate~ enjoy your day!

Susan~I hope it's not really AF. I have always had some cramping each time and thought AF was coming.

I was up and down last night w/ the #2s.. no idea what is going on, but maybe it's something.. some contractions too. Still having the #2 issue today. I have heard it can indicate labor, but it's never happened to me. I wouldn't be sad at all if this baby decided to just come now. I was going to take the kids out today, but now I am scared too. I have never been woken up w/ cramping and needing to go #2.. now it's like water. : ( ugh

Good morning ladies,

Didn't get to post yesterday. My workout was 4DS HI, what a nice workout!!!

Stephanie - Oh, your little one is so goergous!!! Looks like you are not doing to bad on the sleep, that's great!!!

Kate - Come on Julia, your mommy is ready!!!

Susan - I sure hope it's not AF.

Good morning to everyone I missed.

Today's workout will probably be a jog on the treadmill, but I am not sure yet.

I'll try to be back later
Kristine :)

Hi ladies. Yesterday I was invited to a ladies house from the church (she had m/c the same day I did---her 5th m/c) so I went over there for a couple hours. She has 5 foster kids she just adopted, a 15mo old & now she's expecting! I"m really excited for her---hoping that it might happen here too soon. I"m sure they have more sex than we do. ;)

Trish, I had diarrhea/cramping when I went into labor. I hope that's what it is b/c the back door trots would really suck this late in your pg!

No workout yesterday. I really do need to get them done BEFORE the kids wake up in the AM, otherwise it just gets so busy! I';m determined to get my Sunday interval w/o in today though. Open swim is at the school too---so we'll see what happens. At the very least I'll get a couple miles in on my elliptical.

We're off to church. BBL

Hey girls!
I also had diarrhea when I went into labor Trish.:D
Melanie-Wow 5 m/c..thats a lot to deal with! It will happen for you..just hang in there and umm..have sex..lots of it!
HI Kristine-Thanks for your encouragement!
I just made a pot of Racheal Ray's Smokey Chipotle Chicken Sweet Potato Stoup..its soooooooooooooooo good. I made a double batch and gonna freeze some.
Oh, and Melanie-I just ate one of your muffins..yum. They are my favorite!
Haley is dancing and dh is working on his 4wheeler. I am doing chores etc.
Kate-any movement???

oh that soup sound good Susan!! Gosh I am so hungry I want everything! I have one of Rachel Ray's cookbooks.. might have to peak through it today. I really wanted to make some stuff to freeze for after the baby, but I haven't maganged anything, but my chicken soup and some homemade noodles..

Melanie~Wow 5 foster kids for your friend? That is amazing! I just know you'll be preg. soon too!

I have no idea what to think about my problem. I NEVER have this.. it's always the opposite. I usually go every 2-3 days and then w/ the iron on top of it.. i have been taking 1 slow FE iron AND my prenatal since I found out my iron was still low on Tuesday. So basically I thought i woudln't be going at all with all that iron so this is very odd. Every time I have tried taking 2-3 iron pills a week I get jammed up and don't go for 5-6 days.. this time I am taking it every day and I have went just about every day.. then this hits. Maybe it is a sign. I wouldn't be upset. DH gets home at noon today and then has off Monday and Tuesday so it wouldn't be a good time. : ) My house is SO not ready though. I just have no energy to do what needs done and now I feel even weaker and am afraid to eat. DH is bringing home some sprite. We'll see.

Trish - Like the other girls, I also had diarrhea before having my dd. They say it's your body's way of "cleansing" itself before birth. I hope it's not a bug. How many weeks are you?

Kate - Still hanging around I see! I'm getting anxious for you!

Lisa

Yes, I would like the turkey lasagna recipe too.

I just did hardcore extreme 2---awesome workout. I still have time to take the kiddos swimming---yeah!

I weighed myself after working out, thinking I must have gained 2-3lbs last week b/c my diet sucked---Hardees & McDs & pizza. :( Bad Bad Melanie. Anyway, it was down a pound still. Amazing!!

Best get going. BBL

Melanie~we all have our bad weeks.. no worries. You are great w/ your workouts so just go with it.

Susan~I'd love the recipe! I need to branch out and do diffrent things. I stick to the same old recipes I know.

Smoky Sweet Potato Chicken Stoup
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
2 medium carrots, peeled
2 ribs celery
1 large onion, peeled and halved
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 to 2 chipotle chili in adobo, finely chopped, plus a spoon of sauce from the can
Salt and black pepper
1 teaspoon dry thyme, eyeball it
1 bay leaf
1 cup dry white wine, eyeball it
5 cups chicken stock
1 large sweet potato
3/4 to 1 pound chicken tenders, cut into bite size pieces
4 scallions, white and green parts thinly sliced
1/4 cup cilantro leaves, a generous handful, roughly chopped
1/2 cup sour cream, for garnish, optional
Directions
Heat a soup pot over medium-high heat with 2 tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oil, about 2 turns of the pan.

While soup pot heats, chop carrots in half lengthwise then slice into thin half moons. Add the carrots to the pot while it heats, stirring to coat the carrots in the oil. Chop and drop in celery and onion, chopping as small as you can, but don't make yourself crazy.. Add the garlic, chipotle, and adobo sauce and stir to combine. Season the veggies with salt, pepper, thyme, and bay leaf. Cook the veggies together 1 minute. Add the wine and reduce a minute. Add the stock to the pot, cover the pot, and raise heat to high. Bring the stoup to a boil, remove the cover, and simmer for 10 minutes.

Peel and cut the sweet potatoes into quarters lengthwise, then thinly slice into bite size pieces. Add the cut chicken and sweet potatoes and simmer 5 minutes until sweet potatoes are tender and chicken is cooked through. Turn the heat off and add the scallions and cilantro. Serve each portion of stoup with a dollop of sour cream on top.

I do it all except the cilantro and scallions. Its soo good

Yummy. I just printed it. I don't have many of those ingredients (and wonder if I can find them here in Northwoods).

Swimming was great! :) DH hasn't called & he's not home from his trip yet. :( Something is wrong with cell phones. It says, "We're sorry. All circiuts are busy. Please try your call later". HOpe everything is okay...

Melanie-great that dh is almost home. If an ingrediant you don't have is the chipotle chili in sauce...you find that in with the refried beans and taco sauce. Its very common..in a can. All it is is smoked jalepenos in a red sauce..quite tasty.
Af has not arrived. Breasts are on fire. I guess only time will tell.
I wonder if Kate is doing something very important?????????????? I hope so!!!

Thanks for that recipe!! I will print it and maybe I can get my mom to make it when she comes!! She is good at first time recipes and I can watch her. I am such a non-cooker.. lol

Maybe Kate is doing something!! How exciting!

Susan~hoping that these are preg. signs!! I am telling ya I thought AF was coming every time.
