Weekend Check-in, Saturday & Sunday, April 18 & 19, 2026

Good morning everyone................

My Saturday workout:

Blender- "Butt Camp" - 42 min. I just blended this one a couple days ago and decided to give it a
try. As you might guess, it's an all glute/lower body workout that I put together after watching this week's
Live that Cathe titled "Glute Camp". I wanted to make my own blender version of it, & so I wouldn't get the
two mixed up, I decided to title mine "Butt Camp" LOL!

Ok, today I laid in the sun for 2 hours.

Then I just now did 15 minutes of floorwork for abs, legs and glutes plus some tricep work and then took a 10 minute walk around the block(half a block since that is what is flat) 2 times in this nice cool breezy right before a storm weather. It felt good to get outside and exercise.

Nice lower body workout for you !

Today I did 2.0 Giant Sets for 35 minutes (I didn't do that last segment or the cool down). I added on my own stretch. I took a rest day yesterday.

Linda - great name for yesterday's blender workout!
Annette - thanks for giving us the details. You seem so nonchalant about what happened yet it sounds so serious :( . I'm glad you're all right.

I’m so happy to read that you are feeling better and getting some movement in as well, kudos! I hope your recovery continues to go well; I’m sure your impressive strength(all those sled pulls :))and your cardiovascular fitness will help you, too.

Typing out what happened doesn't convey the emotions I was feeling. At home I was calmish until I did something that set my breathing off then I panicked and prayed that it would pass quickly. I realized very quickly that something was happening but I was by myself and needed to help myself.

At the hospital ER the doctor was very calming, he had a soft tone which helped to put me at ease. I knew as soon as he said blood clots in my lungs that it was serious. But again it was handled in a calmlike urgency.

By the time I made it to the 2nd hospital I was tired, hungry and just wanted to sleep. So between the doctor telling me that I could go north or south during the night and telling me how sick I was, lack of food and sleep and the uncertainty of it all, I almost cried twice. I held it together but my emotions were all over the place.

You can type out a lot of emotions but believe me they were there.

Hope that shows more emotions.

I made it to church this morning so that was good.
 
Ok. Out of boredom again, I did 22 minutes of floorwork for abs, legs and glutes plus some light dumbbell work ( 3's and 8's) for triceps and biceps with a stretch.

Gotta get bloodwork done tomorrow for my kidney doctor and the hospital.
