Good Saturday Morning Everyone,

Today I did a mishmosh of Cathe - EDT CLB weighted moves mixed with Xtrain back + a mix of tabatacize and AOLIH segments. I added on 15 minutes of Cathe Live Shock Circuit.

Elsie - I love how engaged and curious you are. I learn so much from you!
Henriette - please share with us what you learn in your new books
Annette - You are working out so much - do you still teach school?
Linda - was that a double workout you did yesterday? Morning and evening?

I am working today but just have three clients which doesn't eat up the whole day. Have a great cool Fall day today friends.
 
Hi Ceci,

I am unable to sub this semester due to my youngest son 's class schedule and I am his transportation. Maybe next semester....I am really enjoying teaching the fitness class for now even if it is for no pay. They also cut me from the GED program so currently I am not working for pay anywhere.

Rest day today since my foot still hurts from yesterday's workout.

Hi Ceci, yep, I did 2 workouts yesterday, but each was only 30 min. I was off from work so I was able to accomplish that.
 
Hi ladies,

I had gr8 plans for today, more EDT and cardio, but then spent hours doing laundry and decided to go check out the TK Maxx store which just opened up in town. I used to have to go to England or Germany if I wanted to go to TK-M, but now there is one here! It's the same as TJ Maxx although the TJM I have been in, in the US are way, way bigger. Like 5 times as big or more... Oh well.

Anyways, the kids went with me and we rode our bikes there, so nearly 45min each way and more than 10,000 steps walking around shopping and going out for lunch. So at least I didn't sit still all day.

Now I will have a look in my new books. I will post a picture separately ... Seeing adding pictures in my posts sometimes leads to me losing my text.

Linda - how is CoCo today? Any changes?

All - I just wanted to say I really look forward to these daily check-ins with all of you. Always makes me smile and I love how we motivate each other with our workouts and share our ups and downs fitness and other, although we have never met in person.

Thanks for asking, Henriette, he is doing ok, I am just trying to keep a closer eye on him, for the seizures...
I stopped the Frontline so am trying to see if that could be possibly causing them. Will have to come up with
Something else, I don't want him to get fleas. But there are several pills, etc out there, instead of a topical
Application. As far as the heart murmur, etc. that will be the next test I guess. Wish I had doggie insurance :)
 
Hello & happy Saturday ladies! :) Oh, take care of your foot Annette. I've been looking around my city lately for some indoor rowing classes to be able to do cardio without being on my feet as I am having some (minor) feet issues myself. Cannot afford a rowing machine, but I thought classes might be fun. They are popular in Calgary, but nothing here yet it seems, unless you want to join a full circuit class which I have no interest in at this time.

Wow, that is SOME workout Ceci! Now you have all sorts of positive energy to help out your clients. :) I did one of those tests you posted from UPenn & my top two strengths were curiosity (like you right? lol) and generousity. I will do more one of these nights. What an insightful project that is. Many thanks.

Henriette, shopping and cycling are definitely active! Did you buy anything? I really need new workout tops, but have been too lazy to shop at all lately. lol. Online usually doesn't work as my torso is long & nothing fits all that well! lol. Your books looks interesting. My niece who is a kinesiology student & personal trainer let me read some of her Strong, which is also by Cosgrove. I haven't tried out the programs yet. We may do them together when I move closer to her in the new year. ...let me know how you make you with these.

AquaGirl, I have senior cat, although I know some folks with hypersensitive dogs who use pumpkin seed oil mixed with crushed garlic orally/internally to help prevent fleas. Not sure if you have considered that. It will NOT cure an existing flea infestation, but it prevents them from clinging onto the animal. Garlic is also a remedy for the heart, but you would have to thoroughly check out if it is compatible with any of Coco's other meds and medical issues. I know my cat has kidney disease, hyperthyroid & hypercalcemia, so many things that are suggested to me cannot be employed often. I wish you two the best.


Well I have certainly given my fingers a workout here blabbling on. lol. I do not plan to workout today. Have a lot of errands to do and am low on energy, so trying to conserve for my errands.

Workout in, 20 min blender mix of Ice warm ups & stretch. Good little low impact workout, part with light

Look at us all checking in! Today I did my own Cathe ICE EDT bi's/shoulders workout. I added on Cathe Live 35 minute cardio workout - forget the name but it was enduring - whoa. How does Cathe teach, do the workout, keep time etc.. and still manage more than me? I just don't get it. That woman is strong.

We have a lovely day here after days of rain. That is west coast Fall. It is much more comfortable in our new place .....the last one leaked in several places and was very drafty. Very thankful for staying warm. :)
Oh, that is neat that the two of you, Linda & Annette, are close. Wow!

Cathe amazes me all the time as well Ceci! Especially how she can talk to us during hiit LIVES. Just wow!

Today I did a condensed version of CrossFire No tabatas & added on more core from Cardio Core Circuit (43 minutes) I have not done anything from CCC in ages!

My weekend ended up being completely workout free, unless we count biking and shopping.
I felt like this biking home with all my purchases:

Elsie - I got a couple of new winter coats at TKM on Saturday and 54 velvet hangers so I could organize my clothes all on the same type of hanger. That is what I spent the start of Sunday doing (after a lazy start) and then I realized I needed at least another 30 hangers and seeing as it was sunny why not bike back to town for another trip to TKM. Riding bikes when it is chilly and sunny is always nice. and a good way to get out and about with my son when he doesn't have a bball game. So both Saturday and Sunday we rode our bikes 1.5 hours... Besides TKM, I also went to another store where I used some gift coupons I had to use before December so I could get a watch that has been on my wishlist for the past few years without having to spend too much of my own money. And at TKM they had some kids books, so my son ended up picking out 3 series, total of 21 books as it is his birthday at the end of the month. Normally I have to order English books online, but not now that we have TKM. I spent 55 euros on 21 books for him.

I started off reading Muscle Logic Sunday morning, but didn't get very far as I was making notes at the same time. Maybe I should have just grabbed a highlighter instead. On Kindle it's so easy to make notes and highlight, but now with brand new books that still look all nice I wasn't sure whether I should highlight stuff... but I think I will. So much quicker than taking notes. And then I can easily go back to what I wanted to remember.

Now the work week has started and I shall return to my workouts. More than enough shopping to last me a while, although I will have to return a cashmere sweater I got in TKM, so one of the next weekends I will have to go for a bike ride again, but I will make sure to workout before I go.

Siobhan - I am also really often amazed by Cathe, whenever I struggle through one of her workouts huffing and puffing, and she's still talking and cueing and everything. Wow!

Henriette, that picture is too funny! I feel like that sometimes also. I've got to be in the mood to shop anymore, but watch out if I am !
Didn't do any workouts yesterday either. My lower back is bothering me, so I probably will have to make a trip to the chiropractor for an
adjustment. Hopefully, that's all it is.

I hope u find out what it is with your back and that it's a quick fix.

I have my next PT aptmt for my shins/calves tomorrow. I am both excited and scared. Excited: I want to be free of my issues so I can do high impact again and even run. Scared: it hurt last time and that was just one leg and only partial massage to loosen it up.
