Weekend Check-in Saturday, November 2nd and Sunday, November 3rd, 2024

Good Saturday Morning Everyone,

I don't start work until 11am this morning which is unusual. As a result, I was able to get in a short workout. I did Xtrain for bi's and tri's for 48 minutes.

Everyone checked in yesterday! Yeah.

Nicki - stepping in poop in the dark is never fun! ahhh dogs.

Hi ladies,

Well after taking the younger cat to the vet this morning and spending an hour and a half there, she has a nail bed infection on 2 toes on her back right paw. This is probably what is causing her to limp.

So 1.5 hours, x rays, nails clipped, and 2 shots later momma is just over $300 poorer, sigh plus we have a pain medication for her.

So I came home and after giving her the pain medication I started the towels in the washer. Decided since I didn't really want to change clothes that I could just do my own weight workout here at home. So 45 minutes later I managed a weight workout using my 5's, 8's, 10's, 15's and 20 pound dumbbells using my mini step as a bench since I didn't want to drag mine out of the closet. So I covered all of upper body, floorwork for abs, legs and glutes plus standing abs and legs (some general swinging of the legs back and forth and some crescent kicks then did a stretch. So not too shabby for working out in black jeans.

So yay a Saturday weight workout.

Oohh, so sorry about your kitty’s nails, hope she will feel better soon! Yes, vets are
expensive……about as bad as our doctors!

Great weight workout for your Saturday! No workout, but I did vacuum upstairs, so
that was activity:)

Annette- Sorry to hear about your kitty's nail infection, hopefully she'll be on the mend now with nail trim and medication form the vet. You're a good cat mom taking care of her. Nice workout at home using mini bench and 5-20 pound dumbbells. Great job on yor workout

I had to workout today so I would not miss a workout on Kaleigh's new calendar for November. Other wise I'm trying to have rest weekends to help rest and help build my white blood count, and improve fatigue.

YT- Kaleigh Cohen Strength- 20-minute FULL BODY Resistance Training = 22 Min
YT- Kaleigh Cohen Cycling- 30-minute STRONGER THAN EVER indoor cycling workout = 31 Min

Today I did Boho Beautiful Yoga for 45 minutes and added on a 15 minute meditation also from their app.

Annette - Vet bills ugh! But we adore our pets

Hello, Ladies!
Kudos to all of you for your workouts this weekend. (or not). I didn't do any because I was supposed to have a contractor at my house. NO SHOW! So I texted him around 3:30 (because the Georgia game was about to start) and he told me he had been vertical for two days with a herniated disk and his boss was supposed to call me. Guess he forgot!
I did do some vacuuming, like Linda, and some other housework so it wasn't a total wash out. Anyway, woke up this morning not feeling well so was lazy today.
Will be doing something tomorrow - what depends on when the contractors show up and leave. I also have yard guys coming to do some clean up and bush trimming.
Will check in tomorrow!

Annette, sorry to hear about your kitty. Hoping for a speedy recovery! Vet bills are outrageous!
 
Nicki, hope your weekend was good, despite the "no-shows", etc. I hate waiting on people,
especially the ones that don't show up! At least, we got some vacuuming done :)
I certainly didn't overdo it!!
