Weekend Check-in Saturday April 1st & Sunday April 2nd, 2023

Hi Everyone,

Today I did a 45 minute Michelle Briehler workout - upper body. It was tough. I added on 10 minutes of a Zumba cardio workout. It was fun and strange and a sweatfest (weirdly). Someone posted about it on VF: https://www.youtube.com/@ZumbaClassInc/videos

Nora: sorry your workout got cut from your day yesterday.

I took a rest day yesterday. My body needed it.

Has anyone watched my Wet Hot American Summer on netflix. OMG. I just discovered it. I was howling. So many memories came flooding back e.g. clothing, awkwardness of youth, the sayings, lack of political correctness etc. Too funny. Even my eldest DD said it's her favourite show.

I never really got into the Zumba thing…I do have the little yellow round Zumba step, I think it was called a Rizer…or something like that.

Hi ladies,

I ended up doing 30 minutes of abwork(including some legwork and glutes) working in nonstop weight work using 3 pound dumbbells and doing various exercises quickly doing 10 or 20 reps at a time from chest flyes to front raises to bicep curls to tricep overhead exercises.

Rest day tomorrow.

Stopping by for an update. I did not get to workout again today my DH wanted to hang out today one of his few weekends off.

Hi Everyone,

Today I did 35 minutes of Zumba class (it's not Zumba but rather it's working out with your arms, essentially - strange but builds a sweat). I added on 15 minutes of a Michelle Briehler lower body workout of strength and cardio - kinda like CLB. I am loving Michelle Briehler. Why am I so late to finding her?

Nora - I am sorry you missed your workout now 2 days in a row.
Linda - do you typically take the weekend off?

yes, Siobhan, I am trying to use the weekend as a “rest” weekend, so far it’s working pretty good, sometimes I do a short workout on Sat or Sun. And add it to my workout post on Monday. Nothing so far this weekend :)
