Weekend check-in, Sat/Sun., April 29 & 30, 2023

Most likely a rest day for me, in looking back at my workouts and weights since January I need to make some changes. Since doing weights 5 days a week (1 muscle group a day) I have gained 6 pounds and no it isn't muscle weight.

So I am not happy, so when I was doing weights twice a week and cardio 5-6 days a week I was staying at a lower weight. So my thought is to go back to my previous schedule of varying the cardio and doing either total body weights or split the 2 days with upper body and lower body or something to these effects.

I will keep you posted on my progress or lack of whichever the case may be.

Hi Annette, I know what you’re saying, I try to keep an even mix of cardio & using weighted items (weights, barbell, etc) too. have a good weekend..Rain all day tomorrow:(
 
Well, I did end up trying out a couple short “new” workouts to me….

YT- Coach Ali- Full Body Compound Weight Plate Workout - 19 min.
YT- Juice & Toya- 15 min. Walking HIIT Workout

I liked them both!
 
Hi ladies:)

I wasn't feeling myself today due to only 4 hours sleep which makes my balance coordination a bit wonky and it was a hot day here all of which do not help with MS. So I skipped today's workout to avoid possible injury.

Linda- nice job on your workout today trying out tweo new ones :

Another rainy day...:( but so far, not pouring.....I may try out a Standing abs with med ball I found on YouTube
later on today, we shall see.

Back to add that I did do the Standing Abs w/med ball on YouTube, as well as another
YouTube-Paul Eugene- Mini Step Aerobics - 30 min. I had done his before, just an easy, simple round mini step workout, I have a little round Zumba Rizer step that works
perfectly. So much for rest weekend:). But those couple YouTubes yesterday & the ones today were all so much fun & great little workouts & none on my current workout schedule, so they were all “bonuses”
