Good morning ladies, may you all have a good day...A special "hello & hugs" to Peg, may you have peace &
comfort on this day...our thoughts & prayers are with you always.....

A special "thanks" to Elsie, for your "pep-talk" to get me going again., I don't know what I would do without
ya'! I wish we could meet, you are truly an inspiration..

My shoulder is still hurting, but not as bad, I guess. I went to the chiro dr and not sure if he helped or not,
but trying to be careful and hopefully it will continue to get better, least I hope so. I have done a couple
workouts this week, I did Stephanie Huckabee's PowerFit cardio, and Toning & Bootcamp blender mixes,
again, trying to go extra light, weight-wise, and just trying to be careful. Everyone take care....
 
I gave up on cleaning today, just wasn't feeling it. I did do a blender mix for tri's and hams/Glutes earlier, hope
To do Bi's & quads later....
 
Rest day here, but yesterday I got a 2nd Wacoal Sports bra that I love so I am happy!! Prayers went out to Peg's family today.

Hey everyone! Thanks for the support, love and prayers. I've cried, laughed, cried some more. We took Dad off life support this morning. He left us in less than an hour. It was agony. But I'm glad I was there, holding his hand, talking to him, simply being present. The staff and MD's were very nice, compassionate and professional. I truly feel for anyone who goes through this. It's a gut punch that you know is coming but can't prepare enough for it no matter how hard you try. It's simply brutal.

Aqua girl I wish you strength and serenity with your SIL. It's not easy. I pray she has no pain and her struggle is brief. Elsie, I wish you strength as well. I hope your mom has her wishes known or written down so you aren't in a position to choose for her. You're both in my prayers.

I stood in the basement this morning knowing I needed something perfect for a workout. My brain is overwhelmed and I stood there for too long so I had to do something short. I ended up doing Toby Massenburgs Ignite HiiT workout. Then extra stretching and quiet thoughts and prayers. I felt very uptight, jittery and anxious so I needed the Cardio to help me stop shaking. Tomorrow I hope to do a kick ass workout. I love all of you and the commraderie here. It lifts me up and keeps me smiling. Thank you everyone!!!!

Oh Peg, my heart goes out to you, may you have some peace & comfort knowing your dad is suffering no more and I bet he will be smiling
down on you when you workout, being the driving force behind your workout cheering you on and loving you every minute. Cry, laugh, cry,
whatever you need to do..., it's all alright.....Take care, get some rest......and have sweet, sweet dreams of your daddy !

Excellent workouts gang! Yesterday I did DIY compound upper body with the barbell for about 50 minutes. (mainly compound, some isolated tris work too) The Barbell always humbles me.

You're in my thoughts Peg during this painful time.
 
Good day everyone. Feeling better today. This morning I did Anni Mairs Life Force. I simply liked the title and it's a Circuit workout which I love. X10 is coming up and I thought of doing it but WHOA....I don't have that kind of energy right now. I was going though pics this morning and found some hideous hair and clothes on myself and siblings. It's quite funny cuz you think you're so uber cool at the time.

Thanks again to all of you for being here for me. I adore how we have a bond and friendship that's very special to me even though we've never met in person. Now....GROUP HUG!!!

Some really good workouts yesterday!

Peg - glad you are feelibg a bit better today. Online communities like this one with like minded spirits that you have never met can indeed be a great support.

Saturday I didn't manage a real w/o. I decided to head into town as soon as TK Maxx was opening as my slippers/house shoes or whatever you want to call them were becoming dangerous. Seriously! No joking. The sole was coming off and I have several times gone flying on the stairs, but have so far managed to catch myself on the railing before I got seriously injured, but it was only a matter of time. The problem was they were handmade Minnetonkas which are hard to find for a decent price in Europe and I didn't want to spend 80 euros on some slippers to wear around the house.

Anyways... My son and I drove into town to go to TK Maxx, I bribed him into coming by promising we would check out the kids' books. They are such a bargain there. Sometimes 13 euros for 10 English books, whereas The American Bookstore charges 10 or more per book.

So I walked a lot... Literally hours. Then more doing chores at home before heading to my son's game. I ended up burning over 3000 cal yesterday, so it wasn't that bad that I missed my w/o.

Today I did Step on it (Cathe Live) and then I started the newest low impact hiit, but I wasn't feeling it, so after 8 minutes I popped in a dance w/o instead. Did that for 45min and then a while later we went for a walk as it is a lovely spring day. All flowers are blooming, such a pretty sight. So again today I reached my calorie burn goal for the day by 4pm. Now I won't feel as bad being lazy with a book in the garden and enjoying some good food. [emoji18]

Hi all! I'm heading out to the mountains for a long training ride. I think it's going to be brutal. But I'll take it slow.

My wrist and hand have been hurting for a couple weeks. Probably from the riding. I am wearing a brace and not putting pressure on it and it's improving.

Peg, I'm so sorry about your dad. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
 
Hey girls, I did get in my biceps & quads workout last evening which was a nice balance to the tricep & hams/Glutes workout That I had done earlier. Today I did another blender mix, Total Body Series Roundup. I tried to use a chapter From each series, but couldn't use a couple of the early series' because they were put in the blender as "sections" Instead of individual chapters so it made it almost impossible to use those without making the workout extra Long.
Anyway, it turned out to be a fun workout.
 
Ok, I added in a couple more shorter workouts this afternoon. I did about 20 min. Of the Firm Tough Tape 2 and
Did another 25 min blender Low impact floor drills. That's it for today. Peg, I hope you have gotten some rest
And glad you are feeling a little better today, under the circumstances.
 
Hey friends, wonder what Ceci is up to? Annette, well deserved rest there indeed! Missy Hiett, have a wonderful ride! It's that time of year again when it's lovely doing things outside cause the sun isn't so brutal. At least for me! lol. Haha, Henriette, sounds like you go through slippers like me! I got some 'fancy' ones from etsy over Christmas, but wore them out in no time. Linda, wow, good on the workouts this weekend! Sounds like a lot of fun. Peg, I have seen that type of workout but have not tried it out yet. I like the title too!!

Today I did KPC (sans Crunch - didn't need more abs today) + Suzanne Bowen BC Thighs. So, turned into a long workout for me. I should do KPC more!!
DH & I are heading out to pick up snacks now for watching Homeland tonight! :)
