Hi all
Just thought I'd share...
About 6 weeks ago DH and I decided that we were going to help motivate each other to eat healthier and lose a few pounds. I was a little skeptical that I would be able to lose much weight because I already eat pretty healthy and workout pretty regularly. The biggest change for me was not eating a "cheat meal" (or meals) on the weekends. I am amazed at how much difference it has made. Granted our cheat meals could be pretty bad. We especially like Mexican food, especially the chips and salsa and queso that you eat before you even get your meal.
Weight has been coming off ever since we started this, that "last 10 pounds" is halfway to gone and I weigh less now than I did before I got pregnant last year.
Not saying that I won't still treat myself. I am not eating perfect right now, but I am still losing weight. I used to think that if I ate healthy all week that I could have a cheat meal (or 2 or 3) on the weekend and it wouldn't make much of a difference.
Anyway, I just thought I would share since there might be others like me out there who feel like they have been trying to lose those last few pounds and not having much luck.
