Happy almost St. Patty's Day!
Well, Jess, you and are I right around the same time--I'm 5 May. I feel like I'm going to pop as well, but I'm really not that big. The doctor said that the baby is 4+ pounds, but sometimes it feels like I have a huge BM (not--it's the baby) or a medicine ball in my belly. I've been tired a little as well and I never take naps, but have wanted to! I didn't sleep very well last night and Ryan is keeping me up. The doctor said s/he can't get any lower, but there's no change in my cervix. There better not be as I'm only 33 weeks tomorrow! I can't believe I'm 33 weeks!
Jen--I'm envious as you get to spend time with your baby. I will likely not work for at least a year as I won't return to work after the baby is born. My husband is retiring from the military this summer and we're moving to Chicago, which is where my family is located. We're going to live with my mom and step-dad (a very good thing as they have a ton of room and it's like having a built-in babysitter) while my husband looks for a job as a financial planner. We'll have to look for a house too and a couple of cars. It's scary to go from two solid salaries to one pension and having to pay for a mortgage and two cars. The good thing is that we've invested a lot and aren't hurting too much for money.
Talk to you all later!
